Our sweet Daphne only came here the last year/year and half of her 17 years. Of the veterinarians she saw in her lifetime, this veterinarian and his staff were the only ones she was not afraid of. She always left happily wagging her tail. When her time came they were all so kind and loving to her as well as myself. I highly recommend them for your pets care.

We switched to Deer Creek after receiving poor service from our vet closer to home in Blanco. I am so grateful we found Dr Paul and this wonderful clinic! Everyone from the desk staff to techs are so nice and welcoming when caring for our fur babies. Our household has lots of pets, both old and young, and Dr Paul is so knowledgeable for any little thing that comes up. They have fair prices and are willing to get you in for an appointment as soon as possible. Our pitbull recently had an accident over the weekend so we took her to a different clinic but first thing Monday morning I called Dr Paul because I value his opinion and trust his expertise that much! It’s not often you find a vet clinic that is there to truly serve your pets the best way possible. I had to put my kitty down who was 20 years old and the compassion and care they provided reassured me I brought her to the right place to be looked after.

Ashley was very nice on the phone and accommodating. Dr. was thorough and took good care of our kitties. Better price than most Vets, in the area, for vaccines and well checks.

Appointment made for cat spay easily with convenient drop off and pick up with a friendly and knowledgeable vet tech. The office texted me when my cat was out of surgery to let me know all was well. Prices are reasonable with no frills unless you want them. Dependable, knowledgeable, and skilled country vet providing exceptional small town service for your animals.

So far, so good. Really liked the vet.... seemed to have a common sense approach to caring for our cats. Recommended teeth cleaning which is totally valid. Will be scheduling that. Prices were a tad high but reasonable. Drove from Dripping Springs to find a country vet ... think we found one.

Best veterinarian in the whole hill country! Dr. Axtell and ALL of the staff are so great with all of my pets, even the difficult ones! Everybody is super friendly, super helpful and very knowledgeable. Prices are extremely reasonable and I can always get my pets in very quickly, if not the same day. I highly recommend!

Our dog had been in horrible back pain for weeks. It seemed like our only option was surgery, until we learned that Deer Creek offered laser therapy sessions. Not only was it affordable, but it worked a miracle for our little dog.

We had just moved to the area and were nervous about finding a new vet for our three elderly pups. Not only did the staff and doctor put us at ease, the dogs actually seemed to enjoy their visit! A few weeks later, when our Golden suffered a major injury, Dr. Axtell and his team provided wonderful care and also found us an amazing specialist in San Antonio. What a super vet and team! We feel so lucky to have them!
