Sadly the pharmacy is less than sub par. Im unsure if its due to understaffing, protocol or software but the communication is terrible. Time spent waiting in line, phones, stock are also very poor. At any given time of the day there is usually a line, sometimes 6 to 7 people deep. Thats a guaranteed 30 - 45 minute wait just to pickup a prescription. Dont think about calling, you'll get hung up on or wait in an endless call queue. If your prescription requires a prior authorization, you will not be informed of this by the pharmacy until you go to pick it up on the date their system has indicated its ready for pickup.

Poor pharmacy experience. Both at this location and the one inside Target. This is clearly a CVS wide issue. No one answers the phone. The pharmacy is often closed due to staffing. Long waits. The staff is nice and doing their best, but clearly don’t have enough working to keep up.

Not my favorite CVS. Very dirty, staff isn’t very nice. Went for a flu shot last year and decided not to get it there because the “clinic” area had garbage all over- didn’t look clean at all. I’ll take the extra drive to Walgreens.

What I love is waiting at the Self checkout for 8 min while my wife is sick at home. I came to get cold and flu medicine for her and evidently one of the items required a ID. I got there at 8:08, got my stuff and immediately got to self checkout. I’d say 8:12 is being fair. I scan and it says I need an ID and someone was on their way. With absolutely no one else in the store I sit there for about 8 min just waiting. Then magically all 3 workers come up and just stare at me. It may sound petty but with 3 workers, no one else in the store, and the fact that the door rings when you walk in that somebody would be up there but nah, I guess they had better things to do

VERY BAD SERVICE. Called them to have my prescriptions sent to my cvs In austin . Was on hold for over 30 mins. Guy kept getting on phone says 2 people head of you. Then they got on be with you in 2 mins. Was on hold for 40 mins. Called back same thing on hold another 30 minutes given same excuse again. Then Called asked for Manger and on hold about same time. Then manager came in a lied to me saying no prescriptions here for me. So Called store in austin and they said that they would have them transferred to me that thay were in the system and apologized for the other store lying to me. Called the complaint line as they could also see the prescriptions also and apologized. HEALTH IS A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE AND TO BE LIED TO IS A SERIOUS ISSUE. please do not use this location as your health and well-being is of no importance to them. CVS IS A GOOD PHARMACY BUT THAT LOCATION IS NOT A GOOD PLACE. PLEASE USE SOME OTHER LOCATION. SORYY FOR THE BAD WRAP . Please use a different location.

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy at this location for over 10 years. I’ve never ever had a problem getting any prescriptions filled for anyone in my household. I’ve also never encountered any rudeness. If you’re polite from the beginning, it will usually be reciprocated in turn. It’s unfortunate so many reviewers on here had different experiences. I can’t figure out why, I get refills every month.

Something must have changed recently because their service in the pharmacy dept sucks. It used to be good and had been my pharmacy for years but now considering my pharmacy options for better much better service. They always have long extremely long wait times both inside and at the drive thru. They are always running out of my prescriptions and I have to wait for refills and end up missing meds because they keep having my prescription out of stock. Totally unacceptable and sick and tired of their service.

This is the worst pharmacy EVER!! Do yourself a favor and find some where else to fill your prescriptions. These people have no clue what they are doing. I cant get a prescription filled the day my Dr sends in the order. My husband has been there 3 days in a row to get my prescription and they say its not ready. I called the 1st day to get them and they said it would be ready at 3:55 went by nope not ready. Second day they told him it would be 3 hrs went back still nothing. Got a text yesterday said they were ready again he goes over there they are not. So now he is going back AGAIN . This happens everytime I get a prescription filled there. Unbelievable!!!

The worst CVS pharmacy in Kyle. I do not know if they are understaff or what, but they rarely pick up their phone, so do not waste your breath. Prescription mistakenly sent 10 am by doctor to this worst location. By 12 pm I went to cvs in Target kyle and they said it was sent to CVS rail road location and they working on it. CVS staff in Target location won't call them either, cause it is famously known they do not pick up the phone. Now its 4.45 pm I am ready to pick up at drive thru, just to be told that it will take 30 minutes. Are you kidding? It is only 20 pills of 1 medicine and taking 6 hours to work on? Zero star!!!

Poor customer service. I called this morning because I am sick with a UTI and I called to ask if they had the kind of medicine that I need. The lady on the phone said she was the only one there and didn’t have the time to look. It was 8 o’clock in the morning and just opened. How busy could they be? Either they are very understaffed or the worker just didn’t feel like finding it. Isn’t that what a pharmacy is for to help you with the medication?
