I really liked this store! Everything is very organized and there's plenty of discounts in many products, lot of fruits and vegetables and my favorite stuff Plants! their selection of it is beautiful, came home with 4 kalanchoes and the lady was very nice and explained how to care for them. Can't wait to go back!

My favorite local grocery store! They do sell Copenhagen, Marlboro, but NO Snus (Camel). Tobacco Barn in front does.

This was my first visit to Brookshire Brothers since moving to Livingston. I was pleased with everything about the store - pretty good selection, clean, produce was fresh, well-stocked, pleasant and courteous employees - but the one thing I noticed was the prices were a bit higher on some items than other stores in the area. I will definitely return though because their selection is better on some items, and they carry items I've not seen in the chains here.

Not a bad store. The reasons for low rating is valid, to let other shoppers know that produce is good, but selection is minimal. Also, prices are definitely higher than their two major competitors just blocks away. Now, here's why I do shop there on occasion - they have a deli that serves hot plates every day, their fried chicken is good, and while this store is smaller and offers fewer product choices, I can go there quickly to assemble a birthday or picnic basket of gourmet meats, good variety of cheeses, stuffed olives, etc. The bakery is also very small, but always has selection of full sized cakes, half cakes, cakes by the slice, pies, pastries, etc, making it a simple one-stop shop for many occasions. It wouldn't be fair to leave out the cleanliness of entire store and fully stocked shelves, calming atmosphere, friendly and very helpful employees, clear wide aisles, wheelchair accessable parking, restrooms, and entrance/exit. Drive through pharmacy.
