Its a small town cafe, restaurant, the employees were very nice, the place was clean and the kitchen was clean and organized.the food was great. There is inside and outside dining.my meal was $ 17 dollar's ,for chicken fried steak, potato's gravy,salad,and tea,delicious. My daughter had chef salad and she said it was the best she ever had. Perfect for family and hunter's.

I had the Patty Melt with their special sauce. The Texas toast was perfectly toasted & not greasy. My friends ordered a cheeseburger, chicken sandwich & a small chef salad. They all said everything was good. Staff is friendly even when under staffed.

July 23, 2021 My Birthday. We had steaks and all the fixings. It was super good. We will come again. Even a piece of cake.

They lied on the phone about what they were serving. They said it was the lunch special (chicken and dressing) or chicken strip basket. I got a chicken strip basket because no one else wanted anything. When get there to pick up my order, the front desk that takes orders was telling other customers that they could also choose a burger (that's what everyone else wanted). Needless to say I was a little irritated by that. I'm not sure if the same person takes the phone orders, but it's really not cool to lie to your customers. Also, my chicken strip basket was alright, but definitely store bought. Can't say I'll be coming back anytime soon. I sure do miss MiMi's.

Pleasant Texas then you owe yourself a very special treat or Treats. It is a very Deep East Texas Piney Woods Scenic drive. Marietta is so very tiny. A dot and a blip on a map. Mimi's Cafe pulls in Locals and those living far away. Never pass it up if you are in this area. Paul and June are retired and always wanted a Cafe. They built a brand new building and it's Called Mimi's Cafe. Several Local Women cook all the meals and fixins. I have tried the Hand ✋ breaded Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and Green Beans and Dinner Roll. Made like your Mother and Grandmother's . Fried Chicken, Meat-Loaf, Pork-Chops are the Lunch time specials I have tried. All Homemade. They have Homemade, from scratch Baked Pies and Cookies and you can call them to order one for your Family to take Home especially on Holidays. You come in and go to the Counter and order. Overhead Menus list the Specials and everything else. Then choose a table or sit at the counter. Serve yourself Drink Fountain, Sweet or Sugar-Free ice Tea. Large HD Flat Screen Tv mounted on the wall keeps you company if your dining alone. The Ladies fix a fantastic country breakfast for those early risers. It is great and extremely low cost. Everything is low cost. Go to a National Restaurant Chain and it Costs about $15.00 or more. I, Greatly-Highly- recommend this Mom & Pop Mimi's Cafe. Because it is Mom £ Pop !
