She shared her opinions based on her experiences but was not pushy at all for a sale.She genuinely wants you to find a dress that you love. I just got my wedding dress yesterday and had a great experience! The bridal boutique itself is so quaint-the store is on the 1st floor of an older home tucked away in a neighborhood near the downtown McKinney square. Melinda was standing outside to greet us and way very helpful with helping me to pick out and try on dresses. She gave a lot of great advice and wasn't pushy at all which is something that is a turn off to me when I'm buying something. I found a beautiful dress that was less than half the original sale price which is awesome! I definitely recommend looking for your dress at this cute boutique! :)

The experience at the McKinney Store Say Yes to the Dress was an excellent experience. I went back with my daughter and the one on one time with Melinda was very enjoyable! She was very helpful and professional in everything she did and was very upbeat and pleasant. The prices were very reasonable which is a big plus! I would highly recommend this store to anyone that is looking for a bridal dress and while I was there I also found my dress for mother of the bride. I definitely give this store and location a 5 star rating!

First I went to a fancy bridal boutique in Addison and although the dress' were nice and the staff was great I just didn't ever get that "this is the one" feeling. Then I stopped at David's Bridal and that was just a waste of time. Our last stop of the day was at Say Yes to Your Dress. By this point I had accepted I wasn't going to find my dress the first day of searching, but to my surprise I found the perfect dress here. My goal was to find a simple yet elegant dress for a courthouse wedding. This shop has many different styles at reasonable prices and you just shop off the rack. I found my dream dress and it fits me like a glove. I will pretty much only need to do minimal alterations taking up the straps a bit. The owner was great and made me feel comfortable from the moment my mother and I walked in. The shop is a home converted into a boutique and the vibe is peaceful and low-key. We spent some time chatting with the owner and her mother and they are wonderful people. So genuinely kind and friendly. If you are searching for a wedding dress this place is worth checking out. They made my dress shopping experience easy, fun, and memorable. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends!

With 6.5 months left until our beach wedding, I became anxious reading about needing to order a dress 6-9 months out then allowing another 1-2 months for alterations. This was even posted on some of the popular Dallas bridal stores’ websites. That’s NOT your only option with this super cute, off-the-rack store. Off-the-rack does not necessarily mean cheap; you can find dresses of all prices for all budgets! Thanks to the help of other online reviewers, I found the highly rated shop, which is one of a kind. Why? See below. Private 1:1 service without an added cost. I made an appointment online with the owner, Melinda, and it was only her and I in the shop until my appointment ended (full 90 minutes). Customer service was top notch. I never felt pressured to buy, and Melinda gave me honest feedback, especially for my curvy body type. I found my dress halfway through the appointment, but Melinda spent the rest of the time providing other helpful tips and ideas for bridal styles, accessories, etc. She is a lovely lady! I am a particularly picky shopper in general and did not think I would find my dress quickly. The first dress I tried on was THE ONE...all thanks to Melinda. I was set on having a flow-y, white dress. Melinda suggested I try this form-fitting, non-white dress to experiment and holy cow...it was beautiful. I text photos in it to multiple family and friends who lived out of town. They all loved it and agreed it was “the one.” Always be open minded - experienced staff know their stuff! You can add champagne to your appointment if you want to take family and friends. She also receives new batches of inventory every 90 days or so. My dress had arrived two days earlier, so it was perfect. The store is a beautifully renovated home in downtown McKinney, and you will feel right at home. I highly recommend this store and am so glad I started here first!

What a lovely experience! My sister decided to visit this boutique after her dear friend had bought her own wedding dress here. A wonderful selection of dresses, each beautiful! The stylist was wonderfully kind, welcoming, and had endless trinkets of wisdom to share. She was so knowledgable and helped us find the perfect dress! We had such a wonderful experience here! The owner is amazing! She was so helpful and honest about the dresses until we all agreed we had found the right one. The selection of designs they have are stunning, the atmosphere is so comfortable, and inviting. You will not regret coming to this gem of a boutique. We were on a very tight budget and still walked away with the dress of our dreams for the perfect price! I can't say enough good things about this shop.

This was not the first wedding dress shop that I'd looked in. After having several not so great experiences in other shops, my experience at Say Yes to Your Dress was absolutely wonderful. The house is adorable and so warm and welcoming. Also, I was given free range to pick and choose dresses that I wanted to try on without feeling like anyone was hovering over my shoulder. Malinda is so knowledgable and was so kind and helpful. I found several dresses that I would have been happy to wear, but when Malinda picked the last dress, (one that I'd said that I wasn't interested in trying on) it blew me away. It was stunning and gorgeous and made me feel so pretty. I found my dress here and I highly recommend this place.

What a blessing! After visiting countless bridal shops and boutiques, Say Yes to the Dress was exactly what my daughter, the bride, and I were looking for. The boutique is charming, the owner was very personable and made us feel relaxed and welcome, the dresses were the prettiest we saw anywhere, they had small sizes as well as big, the prices were very reasonable, and we were able to buy off the rack. We actually visited twice before sealing the deal, but I knew after the first visit that we would ultimately find the dress there. We did! My daughter is thrilled and we didn't blow our budget!
