The last 3 times I visited this location, I had to wait about 20 mins. I don't mind waiting for fresh food, however, I received my food cold, chicken had been reheated, the fries were cold, gravy cold, the corn nuggets were not completely cooked through and cold inside, and the roll was flat as a pancake once and burned the next and I do mean black. There were 3 high school kids working the drive-thru. 1st male was sitting on a stack of boxes on his phone, 2nd-female was working her buns off, working the window, taking money, bringing drinks outside delivering to cars, and taking their payments at their cars. The 3rd female was wearing a headset and standing around, picking her fingernails, looking at the floor and ceiling, and watching the other female run around like a mad woman trying to keep up with orders and customer service. It appeared a young adult manager was training another high school-age male to box the food. Nevertheless, this was the third recent visit and the customer service has deteriorated as well as the quality of the food. I will no longer visit this location which saddens me since it is down the street and my favorite fast-food place to eat out. I hope management takes this review seriously and addresses the issues. I will continue to watch and read their reviews to see if things improve.

It happened on a brisk October morning. As hunger approaced we set our sights on the best chicken around. The crackle from the speaker politely asked for our order. As quickly as a fox we were at the window hoping for a misplaced delightful dessert but there was none. They did as perfectly as I expected. To complain would be to mislead. Fin~

Service has not been good for a while. Quality of food has drastically dropped and they never have the chicken I want to order when i go by there. My order is almost always wrong. Quit going there and found new place.

I went in today around 5:30 and tried to order a 3 piece dark chicken meal. I was told there would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. This is totally unacceptable. They know at dinner time they are going to be busy and should have enough product ready and a cook watching the amount of each item to make sure they are covered after all its just a chicken restaurant. I asked why and I guess he was the manager got a attitude and I replied the same to him. They should call it chicken tender express since thats all they have ready

The red flags were there during the drive thru experience. But I took a chance and still ordered my food. Now I’m up at 5AM with stomachache and diarrhea. Only thing I ate yesterday. Never again Chicken Express in Midlothian!!!!

Wish i could give 0 stars. Dried out tenders, cold food and a smashed burned roll. Girl at window looked high af and like she just rolled outta prison. Put my drink lid half on then stood there to see if id spill it everywhere. Nice try. Wont be back. Don't waste your time.

Awful, I keep giving them a try and every time they disappoint. Every time we come they are out of something so long wait to order what you want. Apparently while waiting for the spicy tenders for 20 minutes they went ahead and made the reg tenders meals including fries. So those meals were so cold by the time we got them home. Biscuits were hard. Always check your bag because every time they leave something out. Usually a side or 2.

Ordered spicy tenders and again got plain. This is a regular issue. When the manager D answered about the issue he became hostile and told me I was wrong. Absolutely the worst service I've ever got. If I’d got a simple sorry we made a mistake I’d been fine vs aggressively being told I was wrong.

Arrived at 8:25 after leaving Golden Chick because they had no chicken cooked It’s now 8:45 and we are still waiting with no indication that there was a chicken wait! At 8:50 we got our order. RIDICULOUS, they should have told us when we ordered there would be a long wait.

The staff was good and friendly. The food, bland. I never had chicken jerky until I ate them overcooked tenders. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease. I was baffled by the number of cars in the parking lot and patrons inside. They must have shot tastebuds. Bathroom was clean
