There is ONE BAD THING ABOUT IT! It has a severe shortage of cashier's! I do mean seriously! One employee YELLED "DOLLAR TREE IS HIRING CASHIER'S"!! Anyone need a job? Get there!

The manager was the most rude person ever. She got very upset when I told her that I needed to do an exchange. She told me that was not cool that I make wait the line because my exchange. There were many employees around and only one casher was open. I apologize for the inconvenience and she said “I don’t know what to say ma’am, not cool”.

Walked in to the manager on the intercom threatening to kick out whoever was bouncing a ball in the store. At 930 we were rudely told to take our transactions to the front because their registers closed exactly at 10 so they needed a head start.. The associates were rude the store was not kept up with. Get it together..

Since the store has been opened. I have been here three times. What sets this store apart from the rest is that they carry some items like the Five Below store next door. A different spin to Dollar Tree. I like it. What I did not like on this particular visit on Saturday the 17th. While shopping a loud announcement blaring over the speaker said that one line is to be formed and that they would call the next customer to whatever register would become available. Well as far as I could tell you had two registers open and people could go to whichever line they wanted to wait in. Not have some rude employee ( Charlotte) take it upon herself to tell the customers otherwise. Perhaps your delivery should have been more polite and a softer approach to your so called problem would have been better received. I would suggest you think about getting a different job if you can not handle retail. Nothing surprises me anymore that employees could do whatever they feel like doing. Keep in mind I would not consider this broadcast (blaring) to be professional. Perhaps she had a bad week, day, minute, hour etc. That does not give her the right to be rude and obnoxious. However, my cashier (Janet) was polite and nice. That is why I am giving this shopping experience a two.

This is a pretty great Dollar Tree. It's clean and well-organized, and it's good a nice selection. I especially liked the craft section. Honestly, though, I think I was most impressed with the variety of the refrigerator and freezer section, which had a decent assortment of frozen dinners and sides, frozen fruits and vegetables, juice and lemonade, and various appetizers that I don't even see at the grocery store. Gonna give these veggie burgers and gluten-free veggie meatballs a try...

Had everything I needed, and everything I thought I didn’t. The cashier was so so nice ! Can’t remember her name but I stayed till closing time feeling like a jerk but she was so sweet and understanding and wrapped all my breakables without me asking. Just noticed she organized the way she bagged things, and had my jumbled mess of merchandise separated perfectly. Purchased about half the store, and both ladies working were very nice, such sweet workers and great stuff available, definitely the Dollar Tree I choose to go to among all the ones in new braunfels and the surrounding cities. Also, the restock items very fast; and it seems like they check their dates on everything, continuously, and have better quality items than DG

Good parking, somewhat clean-ish store. There were usually 3 to 6 persons in line ahead of me at checkout when I came here long before Christmas. When there were 6 in line another checkstand was sometimes opened-- grudgingly. My real complaint is that the website still stated the store opens at 8 a.m. Arriving at 8:45 a.m. on a Saturday, I found the store locked. A woman and her child that arrived after me were allowed to enter before opening. One hopes that was an employee, but the child was running about unsupervised after the person finally unlocked the door after I knocked. If I hadn't have they likely would have ignored the people who kept pulling on the handle and walked away. Evidently there is no senior hour anymore either even with Covid-19 percentages rapidly going up. It appears that Dollar Tree made a fortune since it opened here, but seniors do not matter anymore to the GM and/or the corporation. This was once my favorite Dollar Tree in New Braunfels. I'll shop elsewhere if policies do not change-- in a hurry --and so will my numerous friends who are all getting disgusted by how fast the store's appearance is running down. When this location opened it had nice employees. Now it has snobby, rude, lazy late-opening people who couldn't care less if they are there or not. They're there for a paycheck. They don't seem to, for the most part, take any pride is keeping the store like it should be kept. Too bad it's becoming a disorganized mess just like the larger one at IH35 & Walnut. Take action corporate or you will lose long time good customers like me who recently have had to front the shelves and pick up merchandise off the floor ourselves just to get around.

The store was very clean and well stocked, but their customer service is lacking. There was only one cashier and a long line and plenty of workers through the store that could’ve gotten on a register. Finally another employee walked up and told a couple of us that we could go to the other register (after already waiting). However, there was another employee with a box of merchandise who had apparently been waiting for her. Instead of helping customers she rang up the employees’ $70 worth of merchandise. I’ve worked in retail and this is unacceptable, if your store is busy you either wait until it dies down or get in line like the rest of us.
