Great BBQ for many years. Brisket is tender but not fatty like the other more expensive place in town. Was an authentic BBQ restaurant atmosphere with building kind of 60s rustic theme. Not modern and fancy but food was great.

Do me a favor and just go to killens down the street. It's not worth your calories. I would've given 0 stars if I could. I had 2-meat lunch-plate with brisket, Turkey, Mac and cheese, potato, and bread pudding. Nothing I ate was good. I took a bite from my husband's banana pudding, awful. How do you mess up banana pudding... It tasted so artificial, it was inedible. Summary of what I ate: Brisket: dry as hell. Turkey: bland as hell BBQ sauce: water with color???? Mac and cheese: overcooked macaroni and watered down cheese Potato: it's just baked potato with no seasoning with some cheese and green onion. They do know that salt exists, right? Bread pudding: cake drenched in syrup. Took a bite and close the lid. I don't want to see this ever again. Bananas pudding: abomination Please, save yourself some money and disappointment and go to Killens.

BBQ done right! Got the sliced brisket and boy was it tender, juicy, and tasty. Came with slices of bread, nice onion strings, and pickled cucumber. Sauce was very nice also. This is good stuff for sure. 👍

The best BBQ I've eaten in the Houston area, by far. The meat is tender, the potato cheddar casserole is delish AND the peach cobbler is a concoction of corn bread and peach yumminess! I will go back there again!

Very good! We got a BBQ Pork sandwhich, side of Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and a loaded baked potato with Sliced brisket. The baked potato was MASSIVE. You could definitely share or order half which is what I should've done. The brisket was very delicious as well. It was very tender cut up brisket and the BBQ sauce was very flavorful and not too sweet. My only complaint is the mac and cheese was a bit runny although the mashed potatoes were very cheesy and good. That potato was definitely the star of the show!

The place to go for BBQ. We were coming back from Corpus Christi TX and wanted to find a place for dinner. When the Mrs said BBQ it was an automatic reaction to say central Texas bbq 😂. I really enjoyed the Cuban pulled pork Sandwich which was packed with shredded pork (a very generous portion). The BBQ sauce and pickles are a great combination to add and just makes the sandwich taste delicious! We had the cornbread which I'd recommended to try if you haven't before. Very friendly servers and great tasting food. Oh and please please try the new potatoes casserole absolutely cream and mouthwatering. You will not be disappointed mark my word! Very good value for money and huge portions. Definitely be prepared to eat!

We decided to stop by because Central Texas was recommended by a friend. The staff was very friendly. I got the beef brisket and the chopped beef with a side of mac and cheese and potato salad. The meat was tender but the BBQ sauce on it was completely bland, as were the sides. My friend thought the same of his meal. He had the beef brisket, a pork item, collared greens, and corn. It was worth trying but I don't see myself returning. Again though, it came recommended so maybe just different taste preferences. I just feel there are better bbq places.

One of my all time favorite BBQ places! Portions are plentiful, food is fresh and flavorful! When I visit Pearland, I have to go there! The cornbread is sweet, huge and delicious! The BBQ is actual BBQ, not cooked and then covered in sauce! I don't care for "cake" peach cobbler, but this was yummy!

Food was okay. The brisket was a bit dry. The sauce is so so. The rib tips Tuesday deal for $5 was great. The devilled egg was excellent as well as the potato salad.
