Classic BBQ joint with traditional fixins. We had brisket sandwiches that were DELICIOUS. Definitely a strong smokey flavor on those. Good BBQ sauce. We also had the new potatoes and the smoked baked potato. Beware, if you ask for butter on the new potatoes, you WILL get butter. We called it "butter soup" and threw them out after two bites. Would've been great without butter though and they ask if you want that! The smoked potato was delicious. I also had the buttermilk pie. Maybe different people prepare this different ways, but I couldn't eat it. It was either overcooked, had too much gelatin in it, or both. Don't even care, still giving four stars because the brisket was so good.

Excellent Food 🤤 😋 I would walk a month without any water or food just to have a great meal at Rudy’s

The place is clean. Variety of meats. A bit pricy. They do not automatically give bread here, you must request it. The pulled pork had some vegetables in it and was sweet. Different from other Rudy's I have visited but good. It has its own gas station.

Clean easy place to stop for lunch on the road. Service was fast and friendly. Pork was great. Brisket was greasy. Chicken was very peppery. Sides were limited.

Rudy’s has friendly staff that were careful about my cousins allergies. The brisket I got was pretty tasty and had good bark. I also enjoyed their BBQ sauce!

The decor is extremely Texan, the food is extremely Texan, and the patronage is extremely Texan. The brisket sandwich was fine and filling, but not outstanding. I am not a connoisseur of corns on cobs but what I can say is that I devoured this one like an absolute animal. Clean bathrooms. Good service. The food was four stars but everything else was five stars.

We were passing through & decided to check this place out. What an outstanding barbecue restaurant! The food was sooo good! My husband loved the corn on the cob...it was huge & sweet! We even bought some smoked turkey to munch on down the road, it was so tasty! Zane was totally awesome & patient with us when we ordered. Wesley was really friendly & SO polite! This was a great experience with top notch employees...we WILL be back whenever we travel through again!

Got into town late and forgot about the timezones. They took our phone order for pick up 20 min before closing and were so generous and welcoming. Beef brisket was delicious and washed down easy with Lone Star to go back to the room. Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes Curbside pickup: Yes … More

Oooooooo Booooyyy!!! We are driving through to grab bbq. I walked in, everyone was so friendly and hospitable! I was half way to the boarder of Texas before I got to the Peach Cobbler and banana bread pudding. I wanted to turn back to grab more! Heck yea this place is delicious.
