I like coming here cuz they usually have what it takes to complete my project. The employees don't always have their minds on the job. My reception is usually an "indifference" on their part. There's no greeting or don't acknowledge you and continue putting up their stock oblivious to your presence. They need to learn how to be more proactive with customers.I give them four stars for having plenty of stock on hand but two stars for customer service.

Not very organized. Online shows what I need in stock, and a worker confirms they have some. However, you can't buy it because it's in the back. Why show it in stock for pickup if it you're not willing to sell it?

Friendly staff. Selection is limited but good for a small town hardware store. I can usually find what I’m looking for. ACE is my first option whenever possible.

So, I rented a cleaner on 6/4/2022 at 7:25 pm for 24 hours. First time at this store and didn't tell my they close at 5:00 pm today 6/5/2022. I called them to see what I can do because I can't make it up there by 5:00 pm, and they want to change me a late fee. This is unfair as if I would had taken it back before 5:00, it wouldn't have been 24 hours. So what can I do, because I'm not paying a late fee?

Inaccurate inventory. Drove almost an hour AFTER being told the item will be held for me, just to find out the item is not even in the inventory (after online showed in-stock).

Absolutely love this store! The entire staff is always so helpful. The store is clean and things are easy to find. No one talks down to you because you're a woman. And Lee went out of his way tonight to answer all my questions about generators and preparing for the possibility of another bad winter. I will ALWAYS come here first before driving to Mckinney for anything.
