Used to be a good gym, hours are very limited after covid emerged, Covid is over and they still refuse to adjust their hours to make it accessible to the members on a daily basis...It can get very crowded and their schedule is not even close to the schedule of a small gym. They claim they dont have enough people late in the day to justify staying late, however when I get there at 8-9pm its usually still full. And they start calling to remind people of the closing time at 8:30 which means you are aware that those people will stay if you dont kick them out, On Friday they close at 9pm, Sat- Sun at 8pm - not reasonable at ALL. Equipment breaks and no maintenance or replacement is done, such as the Main ceiling clock, and the vacuum clothing drainer in the locker room. I kept telling the staff at the front desk that their faucets in the locker room were all broken at one point except one. they just replaced some of them with manual handle faucet which is a downgrade from the motion sensed. I was asked to complete a review, and with all the negatives, the manager (Ryan) called me. I know there is nothing much he can do as he is unable to budget without approval from his superiors, but I see other 24 hr fitness doing better in the area and have more flexible hours ( 24 hrs). I made him aware that recently I left the shower 4 min after the closing hour, and one of the night staff was waiting for me with a dead bolt cutter in the shower area and told me he was about to clip my lock. He tried to justify it as a protocol to ensure that no one leaves anything overnight in the lockers, however , I would assume that this is done after ensuring that there is no members left in the facility, which was not the case because he was in the locker room talking to other guys when I entered the shower at 8 pm of that weekend. Its disappointing to see a nice facility with a great potential for success to fall apart slowly.

Gym is in disrepair. Broken machines, machines taken out and not replaced, torn or missing handle grips throughout the gym. Bathrooms out of order, water in sinks not working, dirty locker rooms, dirty showers with clogged drains. Employees more interested in sitting around talking or playing on their phones than cleaning, filling empty paper towel dispensers and antibacterial spray bottles. Also, no one shows up to open on time.

This gym has everything you need for your fitness needs at a good price. The buddy pass is great and is the main reason I joined the gym. They have lifting equipment, cardio machines, basketball courts, pool, etc. Staff members are pleasant and helpful. However, it seems to be overcrowded at times. A lot of the equipment is dated with signs of heavy use. It is quite dirty overall and is a bit off putting. It needs a face lift but it is useable at the end of the day and the staff is kind.

Small gym , not enough equipment . Equipment is outdated and rusted . This gym is never cleaned you will find dust piles, hairballs , a disgusting mess . Saddly it’s the closest “decent” gym .

Can't believe this gym is rated at 3 1/2 stars! I love this gym! Been going to this gym for 13 years! People are so nice. The staff always always greet you with the biggest smiles! All of them are so adorably sweet. All the people that work out there are so genuine. Yes sometimes things break down but when you report it, the management is on top of it. There's no gym with all these machines , cardio machines , weight area , sauna , steam room , hot tub and pool , within miles. Highly recommend this gym.

Today in the sauna area I left accidentally 100.00 dollars 💵 I came out of the gym at 9:45 and on my way home only in 5 minutes I returned to pick up my money and it was not there unfortunately I couldn't have the opportunity to check on the cameras to see who took it from the bench . I reported it immediately to the staff and they didn't show me the video of robbery. I am so sad because you supposedly feel safe 😢but you never know who are going to harmed you and your belongings

Only major gym we have in Rockwall. Machines/Equipment need a major upgrade and maintenence. They need more variety of Equipment.

This is only the second location in the dfw metroplex that I've seen with a nasty pool. Only one more dirty than this one is fort worth horne. If you like to swim I would suggest a different location cause this is unacceptable cleanliness of the pool

I have been attending this gym for nearly a year since moving to TX. The quality of this 24 Hour Fitness is about on par with the rest of the 24 Hour Fitness gyms that I have been to throughout Texas. The free weights are often disorganized and haphazardly strewn about throughout the gym. I have rarely seen staff clean or organize the equipment/free weights in the mornings and no one seems to have a real sense of urgency to replace paper towels in the dispensers on the weight room floor or replace the toilet paper in the men's locker room - Can't speak to the women's locker rooms. The area near the Olympic lifting platforms and leg presses is often a mess with non-olympic weights hung on the racks, wet spots on the flooring from a leak in the roof when it rains - I have seen the flooring be covered with yoga matting in an attempt to keep the surrounding area dry instead of mopping up the area and positioning 'wet floor' signs - and bar floor matting placed around the platforms instead of fixing the leak in the roof. I am not sure what the procedures are for the staff and who's responsible for walking the floor throughout their shifts, but I do not see the front desk staff do much of anything other than talk to one another and/or be on their phones at the front desk, aside from 1 employee at the Rockwall location in the mornings. Overall, this location doesn't really look to put much emphasis on keeping the gym tidy or organized. I am not sure if there is a gap in communication to the staff, an oversight by whomever is managing the gym in the morning, or the folks hired for the morning just don't want to hold each other accountable, but I'll continue to attend the gym and clean & organize when/where needed. I will also continue to report any issues that may arise while I am there.

This gym has a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. It is well managed and always clean. I had seven surgical procedures done last year and have been coming to the gym to regain my strength, especially in my knees which were both replaced toward the end of 2020. I started coming after completing medical physical therapy and rehab back in late spring-time. I enrolled in the training program and couldn’t be happier. My trainer is attentive and thorough, always paying attention to my abilities as I rehabilitate and grow stronger. The entire staff at the gym works as a team. Team building and communication are the key to any successful endeavor. Anyone can call themselves a manager and hire employees, but without strong leadership skills, no manager can build a true team. This gym is a prime example and it definitely shows what strong leaders can do.
