One star is entirely too much to give this store ! I am staying at the hyatt across the street. I came into the store shopping with my family for souvenirs before leaving the state. The cashier comes around the counter to watch us look at things inside the store. He hasn't ask any customer who has entered the store if they needed any help, but us. I explained that we did not, but I did not like how he was watching us, so I told my family let's go. As we're leaving from the store he asks us where a toy was. As if we would steal anything out of the store. I was truly offended that someone not only would think i would steal out of the store but a $10.00 toy at that. My family and i was definitely profiled in this store.I will neverrrrr tell anyone to shop here or even enter this store. Customer service really sucks !

You'd think a Market Place right next to a national monument would be a little out of place but honestly it fits right in with the Alamos feel. THe shops are thematic in the right places, reasonably priced and naturally have Museums out front near the Alamo so it's a good mix. It's pretty big, clean, and easy to get through even on busy days so that was also nice. Didn't need any help so I dunno if any general security people or Plaza employees were good or not but I'm sure they were. Great Plaza next to a great monument.

Horrible Service never received our food. Had to waist another 20 minutes for a manager to show up to get my money back. Owner started yelling at me and my wife out the front door. Because we would not leave until we got our money back. No go!!!

This is our Go-To location for Chachkis and souvenirs. Large selection and reasonable prices, especially for the Riverwalk! Collecting the Dias de los muerto skulls and ceramics now. Fresh jumping beans last weekend too LOL

I really enjoy this area of San Antonio. It's my favorite place to read a book and people watch the tourists and the many happy families. I'm really proud of my city!

Lots of stores to check out and plenty more within walking distance or rent scooters to cruise around

Many places to go, not nearly as crowded as the Riverwalk and the stores are moderately priced. Lots of cool stuff to look at if you're window shopping or seeking artistic inspiration. It doesn't seem to have much of a cultural overtone in this vicinity, unlike many of the tourist-trap stores around the area.

I purchased several shirts from here. Great quality. Never had an issue with the guy in the front. The store is packed so take your time looking

Giving even lower than one star would be too high for this store. A man who identified himself as Frank greeted me at the door with lists of everything on sale. I was checking out with some items and asked if there was a discount if I paid in cash like so many stores want. He immediately started yelling at me saying I was accusing him of stealing. Of course I was shocked. That was not my intention and told him so. He continued to yell and throw about his arms. He kept screaming even as I was leaving the store. Hopefully there will not be an incorrect charge on my credit card. The final words would be to keep walking, preferably running past this store.
