My auto fill for La Occitane products went off the rails with a Credit Card expiration date issue, and going to the website, as usual was unproductive. I decided to visit the store in The Domain in NW Austin in person. After discovering that La Occitane in NW Austin has closed permanently, I searched for an alternative. Despite reading the up then down reviews of service at the San Marcos Outlet, I headed south on I-35. I wasted time, gasoline and then there's always the pure "fun" of mixing it up with I-35 traffic! I found the store, with it's door locked-- a handwritten note taped to it-- "register down" Really!!?? The products are quite fine-- but purchasing them has turned into a tour de force. Or farce. La Occitane in France: you've got some compounding problems which need to be addressed! Mark me as truly frustrated and unhappy long-time customer.

Love thr products but the employee was horrible and rude .we had to ask her to help us & she acted mad that she had to come from behind the counter. My cousin is in a wheelchair and couldn't reach something she wanted to see & the girl finally handed it to her but had something rude to say & was ugly to my cousin so we left.

My family and I had such a special experience here. The two sales associates, Carlos and Nikki (I believe that was her name) were kind, patient, and engaging. We must have spent at least half an hour in that store asking them to explain every gift set and trying all the products and fragrances. They didn't once treat us badly for trying all the things and they explained all the sets, the deals, the scents, the purposes of all the items- all with a smile. We ended up buying a lot of items, and Carlos threw in so many free goodies for us that it must have been almost half as much as what we did purchase! If you're in San Marcos, you need to stop by.

I love the products but the staff at this location here are rude and could be less discriminative . I walked in and the woman and the man were not helpful with me like they were with the other people who entered . I asked if some items were on sale , and the guy said , “ items are as marked “ In a condescending tone without even looking at me . What was funny was the people he helped didn’t buy a thing , yet I bought multiple items spending almost 100. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover . I may not dress in designer clothes, but I do spend money on myself . I just felt so awkward and the sales associates were so unfriendly with me vs the other customers. Will not be back .

Love this place!😍 Feels like I'm back in Provincial 🇫🇷 France. The Shea lotions are perfect for my friends up North and their harsh winters and for my friends down South for their hot summers. I love to spoil my friends with L'Occitane

Went to the San Marcos outlet location Tuesday December 26th around noon. A woman with silver/blond curly hair was working. I walked in she did not even acknowledge me. She acknowledged others that walked in before and after me. I thought that perhaps she was busy with others however when I was the only other person in the store she never once asked if I had questions or needed help. She looked me in the eye and nothing. Not sure what her deal was but what horrible customer service. I wanted to buy something as I love this brand however choose not to based on her lack of interaction with me. There are way to many options for consumers that customer service is extremely valuable in choosing one over another.

Always an ABSOLUTE MUST store to visit at San Marcos. Be prepared to go over budget! My husband usually waits outside or I ask him to go to another store. And I always pick up his favorite shower gel and soaps (if they have them). The associates working in the store are very knowledgeable and helpful.
