Edit #2 *** they tried (added a third star just for their people - not the product). the infrastructure here just sone support 2 devices at a time. Unfortunately will be cancelling service as soon as possible. Hopefully you have other options. edited** once again impressive support team, voice message within three days, they are on their way to fix the line issues. So disappointed - not even capable of steaming 1 video show or Music station nothing else connected - 1 tv - constant buffering. its been so unreliable we had to disconnect our security system from it because we cant trust it to stay up. The service people are all very nice, however the product and infrastructure is so terrible. they told us there is a bad line between the station and our address 10 months ago and don't appear to have made any effort to fix it. we get to pay $80+ per month to be constantly frustrated and disappointed. We signed up with SOCEN based on the promise that fiber optic would be coming to Marysvale, UT really soon, but here we are 7 months later. We currently pay $69.95 + taxes and other fees totaling $85.61 on the best bundle package offered, for 50MB internet + phone. We do not use the phone service, and our internet speeds haven’t right around a 15-16MB download and a 2MB upload speed. It takes 5 minutes for us to just load the SOCEN webpage, so just imagine how it works for trying to watch a movie or stream TV. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVEN BOTHER contacting South Central. They are a complete JOKE!!

Requested service online, got an email saying that they can get it for us but need permission. Got them permission and they told us to call to set up an appointment. I called, setup the appointment and was expected to get the service in 2 weeks. They then decided after all that to tell us that they actually can't help us nor can they provide service. Literally wasted days trying to get service but told after doing everything but install that they can't help.

This is probably one of the worse service providers in the area. I thought Century Link was bad. I canceled TDS when South Central Communications offered fiber optic in my area which is on the North side of Cedar. Poor signal and poor customer service, I struggled to get through with them on the phone and had to catch their tech teams out on the street just to get my issues resolved. Finally got tired of it and canceled and am waiting for TDS once again. If you decide to get SCC ask around before getting them and wasting your time.

Ended our service had to move. The lady set up payment plans but went agains her words. We did a few payments then she demanded full payment after equipment was returned. Don’t recommend this service. Old lady needs to do something else because seems like all the 1 stars are because of her.Do better. ——reply-Equipment was returned on time. Getting called out when handling customer service poorly is part of the job you do. You made it seem like you understood our financial situation? But didn’t care at all? Train better

Unfortunately they don't want to keep current customers happy, only incentive pricing for new customers. So once they have you, as new product (1 gig internet!) comes out, current customers get gouged if they want to get it. I wish I had another option for broadband in my area. Or I would switch. Fast forward 1 week, company reaches out and offers what website says, wants to throw in a free month too! Gives out same phone number as website. Unfortunately that routes to the same personnel, that won't give the promised deal. Customer service really lacking here.

Since day one we have had great internet service with South Central (about 3 years now). The two times we needed help from their tech department they were quick to respond and went above the call of duty. When our price went up unexpectedly we contacted the office by email and didn't get a response, but when we called the office our issue was immediately resolved.
