I’m not the biggest fan of this place. I go here because they have what I need in a pinch. As a Fly Fisherman, I can usually get more specific items at a fly shop. I recently stopped for a camo shirt that was supposed to be in stock. I couldn’t find it at all. I ended up purchasing something slightly different while I was there. Staff is friendly but not all that knowledgeable about local fishing spots/reports.

I am not one to share many experiences, but on Sept 23, 2022 I had the privilege to meet Mr.Stewart whom works behind the gun counter. This young man provided excellent workmanship, knowledge and customer service. He effectively mounted and bore sighted a newly bought vortex scope to my 30-06. After a quick trip to the range…I am a satisfied hunter.. Keep up the passion and professionalism Mr. Stewart!

I took my rifle back in to sportsman's to have adjustments made on my scope. Andrew was very quick to get the gun on the rack and then made the adjustments with exact precision. Very nice fellow and made it an overall great experience. Thanks again Andrew!

We went to the Riverdale store tonight to purchase a birthday gift for our grandson. At checkout the clerk said the card didn't go through 3 times even through it said approved each time. I showed her the charges on my card guard that went through they were not pending. She called for a manager and after about 15 minutes a young woman named M______ came up, she again said the charges did not go through even as I showed her that they were there and charged not pending. She was very rude and condesending said we could shop for our items somewhere else. Did not reverse the charges or even offer to look into it. I will be on the phone tomorrow with the bank to reverse the charges. Don't think I will shop there in the future, very poor customer service.

Extremely Disappointing Shipping Experience!! I ordered some very expensive rifle ammunition from Sportsmans Warehouse. It arrived in a very thin box with absolutely ZERO packing material inside!! So my 4 boxes of precious ammo just rattled around inside a thin box from Utah to Dallas!! Not surprisingly, one of the boxes opened, and 2 rounds came out!! See attached photo. This is NOT the way expensive ammo should be shipped!! It only takes a few extra seconds to stuff some packing paper inside the box!! What are you thinking Sportsmans?? I have zero confidence in this ammo now. I'm going on a $10,000 hunt. Do you think I'm going to trust this ammo on a $10,000 hunt?? I would rate Sportsmans as the absolute WORST ammo shipment I have ever received!! Take my advice: even if you have to spend a few extra bucks, do yourself a favor, and BUY YOUR AMMO ELSEWHERE!!

We came in to get a site fixed on our bow and the man working back in the archery range has so much experience and worked so hard to help us! We enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back again! Someone get that man a raise!!!

Accidentally dry fired my brand new bow so I took it in to get it repaired. Even though I didn’t purchase the bow from there Tom was amazing to work with and didn’t try to overcharge or upsell anything even though he easily could have. While there he helped sight in my bow and gave me a bunch of pointers that may have taken years to figure out on my own. Amazing customer service and extremely knowledgeable. Small shop feel from a large company is rare but very appreciated.

I love Sportsmans, plain and simple. I have bought a lot of fishing and hunting gear over the years because they always have what I need. I was glad to hear that the BPS acquisition didn't go through, as a customer I'd prefer it that way. Also, the updated checkout area up front works much better than it did before, great addition to the store.

This is my go-to store for guns ammo and camping supplies. Pretty great selection and frequent sales on just about anything you could want. Sometimes the registers get a bit backed up and you'll have to wait a bit, but sometimes you have to earn your new gear with a little patience.
