Ordering went fine. There were 2 people in front of us waiting for their food. The three employees worked on their orders and then just appeared to be standing around. After about 10 minutes of waiting, one worker asked another where her large turkey bacon ranch was (our sandwich) and they searched their machines only to discover they had never started it. They finally began making it and we got our sandwich without even an apology or offer to make our visit better somehow. When we opened it to eat we discovered it was on the wrong bread and they never gave us our pickle. The sandwich still tasted good, but it was very disappointing especially after the long unnecessary wait.

I got the medium New York on White with no extras as it was my first visit. I wanted to start with a baseline. That size the price was comp to a Subway footlong yet 1/3 smaller I ordered online in the parking lot as it was high noon and the lobby was full. The app gave me a time frame of 15-20 min. I went in and picked it up at 25 min. There is no notification of it being done and I was in no hurry. I suggest either dining in or going in early and waiting as I only live 4 min away and when I got home the bottom bun was starting to sog. Do not door dash this sandwich, lol. Maybe it was ready right away and I didn't get to it for a half hour. Anyway, it tasted very good. Next time I'm gonna go for the large and extra meat and cheese and pay the near $20, as it wasn't filling enough for a guy like me.

I've never had a bad sandwich at any firehouse ever... Until my last visit. The bread was cheaper, dry, hard, generally not good. There was less meat too. I've never really had an issue with the sandwich being soggy, even the next day, but this time it was soggy after a few hours, I think because of the bread.

Awesome sandwiches! I personally love the simplicity of the menu choices and the speedy service. I would've given it 5 stars but they seem to close earlier than the specified time occasionally, so be careful ordering a sandwich within 30 minutes to close.

My first visit was very satisfying. I got the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket and wolfed it down before I could snap a photo. My wife got the New York Steamer. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful and kind, and the food came out relatively quick. Highly recommended. The small is 4" the medium is 8" and the large is 12". My wife ordered a medium, and they brought out a small by mistake. They fixed the order quick and gave us a cookie for our troubles. This place is great!
