We came from Indiana and broke down. Trans went out they got me in urgently. We broke down Wednesday and had me back on the road Friday! Excellent people. We couldnt have broke down in a better place.

They replaced the clutch in my car and the clutch works great biggest issue is that it took five weeks to do it. They are understaffed no one will answer the phone when you call. A car that was running perfectly fine when it went there had the check engine light on and would not idle because the mass airflow sensor, one spark plug wire and half the vacuum hoses were not reconnected to the engine.

I am currently waiting for them to finish fixing the transmission for my vehicle. They have had it for an all together timeframe of over two months. The mechanic who is working on my clutch highly recommended Estep. The last update I got was my transmission was shoved to the side and they are dragging their feet. I have been without a vehicle for over 3 months and all because of the delay caused by this company. I am very unhappy and do not appreciate that after being paid they are not doing what we paid them to do.

After paying $1700 to have my trany rebuilt(one day service) it started slipping almost immediately. Once i took it back for warranty got a week long run around because they didnt replace certain parts. And once i got it back the 2nd time the gears slam. Skip this place and go somewhere else.

Took my car back because the initial problem wasn't fixed. Waited 7 months for them to do something. Didn't even try to work on unresolved problem. $700.00 down the drain. Don't go here.

i went here to talk to some one about havingwork veh workede on and a employee told me about them i opened the office door and a tall brown haired man was at the counter snorting some kind of stuff off the counter and i turned and said never mind and went to another garage and getting the trans fixed so this is the type of people who at the least work on the autos{NOT MINE} but thanks god for me seeing this thanks but no thanks just a follow up i went to a local used parts place to look for a eng for my 2004 express van and a man there said his sister avalanch was here and went toget and the guy working here said she could not have it and she also added that she thought he was very high and i want everyone to know and i own my own construction co. here in bristol thanks for letting everyone read what i know

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Take your vehicle ANYWHERE else but here! I have now been without my vehicle for 2 months. Estep "rebuilt" the transmission and 4 months later it started doing the exact same thing it was doing to start with, only worse. I took it back to Estep since they give a 1 year warranty. Well I've gotten nothing but the run around since! It's been 2 months now and it still is NOT fixed. They did tell me it was ready a week ago and when I went to pick it up, it literally wouldn't even go in drive. After reading Yelp reviews, I found out I'm not the only one they have pulled this on. Save yourself a lot of time and trouble and go ANYWHERE else but Estep!

Many of these reviews are lies saying we are "jerks". Best transmission shop in the area. Come and meet our very nice staff, we will work with anyone. Many people come and talk bad towards us and do not want to be civilized. Bring anything and realize how great the outcome will be. God bless.☺
