We just bought our 1st Hyundai and it was actually a pleasant experience! Jay Lee was our salesperson and we could not have gotten any better service. He was approachable and courteous without being pushy. On our test drive, he explained all of the new, interesting tech features as well as the safety features, he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic without being dismissive. I would be happy to recommend Jay Lee and Hyundai of Chantilly to anyone interested in buying a car.

I had a good experience buying my Elantra Hybrid Limited here. Mark was my sales person and he was kind, polite, and easy to work with throughout the experience. I put a hold on the car in the middle of May and it showed up at the beginning of July right as I was boarding a flight for vacation. I changed my flight and rushed to Chantilly to buy the car. Mark and the finance guy (who’s name I unfortunately can’t recall) were incredible. They knew I was on a time crunch and got me in and out of there in record time. I didn’t get any crazy run around from the finance guy on price, “add ons,” or financing. He explained the warranties they offered but wasn’t pushy when I said I wasn’t interested. I managed to get in and out in about 1.5 hours (including a trip to my bank nearby) and made it back to the airport on time. They only hold reserved cars for 24 hours, so for anyone reserving a car who has a vacation planned in the next three months: do yourself a favor and give a family member or close friend power of attorney to purchase the car on your behalf if it comes in while you’re away. Most states have a form you can just print out and have notarized.

This place will not disappoint to deliver the classic car dealership experience. You will be taken through all the motions at the end they will go into a back room and a guy "deal or no deal banker style" make you a deal which would be nothing you were initially show on their own website. Cashing out your desperation for a vehicle and squeezing hard. Can't wait for the Internet sales to take off and shut down the dealership experience forever! Ps - the product "car" was awesome. Five stars to Hyundai for making a great shift in their product quality and finish.

I have been going here for alittle over 3 years now, I even traded in my 2017 Sonata for a 2021 Sonata N-line. They have always been great with me and my husband, good customer service and always been able to fit us in for whatever our needs are. I recommend them if your looking to buy a nice safe car.

Latest update- Reducing rating to average. 2 reasons: 1. Have to wait for almost 3 hours just to get wiper and oil changed! Car was not at all cleaned from inside. I have never ever experienced such service before. 2. Have been continuously receiving letters for trading in and was interested in buying palisade. But Manager Mr. Mohammad seems in no mood to discuss as he is confident that would be able to sell the car immediately. No matter whether its an existing customer or not. Mr. James was way better than the manager for sure. I would look for alternate option now to get my car serviced instead of going to this place.

For buying a car in this horrible place took us THREE DAYS 👏 After test drive…. The next step is to start your application for loan approval! After collecting all the required documents and signatures, they told us Uhu it Saturday all the staff are gone, come tomorrow 😂 OK! we come back next day (Sunday) after waiting for hours and hours…. they came back and told us, you should come tomorrow, its Sunday banks are closed! 😏 They told us, tomorrow we will call you first, fixing the appointment to don’t waste your time then you can drive to here. The next day (Monday) we got a call, even they discussed with us that one of the loan company approved you for a very good rate! We arrived to the dealership within 1 hour after receiving the confirmation call, when we arrived very easily they told us SORRY WE SOLD YOUR CAR 😎 End of the story… we bought another car, 5k expensive then the other one! 😎

Salesman agreed to a price of X. I verified it twice over the phone and upon arrival before test driving. When the final paperwork was brought out, the price was X + $1000 and the salesman said "Because I got you the color you wanted" ... We walked right out. Manager was also on their side as they refused to honor the original agreed price for model and color. Then, still tried to call me that day and the next for only X + $500. Hopefully management has changed, but never been back, never going back. Fairfax Hyundai was honorable in meeting and agreeing to what was discussed. We bought there.

I never imagined I would be treated so disrespectfully by Hyundai of Chantilly. I reserved a Santa Fe Limited with April, 3rd as the estimated date of arrival. Last Saturday morning at 10AM, two weeks before the expected date another sales person called me saying the car had arrived, was inspected and it was ready for pick up. I said I was not expecting to pick up the car that day and I needed a couple of hours to get an insurance policy. I am a new resident in the country and the dealer was aware of that since the beginning. After being pushed by the sales person saying I would lose the car, I called some insurance companies and within one hour I was able to get a policy. After returning the call I was told the car was sold. Besides that, many blockers were presented to me like not being able to have the DMV registration done by the dealership and the requirement to pay only with a certified check, which I could not provide in the weekend. After asking to talk with the Hyundai of Chantilly's manager, with the name of “Chuck”, I was informed that the car was sold and nothing couldn’t be done anymore. And then he hung up. So unethical, and I am sure you lost more than one customer. All the mentioned blockers are not true because I bought a car in another Hyundai dealer at the same day and took the car home without any of these restrictions.
