My family and I went shopping with Ross two days ago. I bought clothes and two boxes of batteries for my children. But when I got home, I noticed that the batteries did not come out of the bags. I went to the store today. I asked to look at the camera recordings. They looked and said no problem, the batteries were put in the bag. Then my wife asked us to be shown the video recording. The employee stated that the recordings would be shown this time, but that they would not be able to make such a display in the future. They made us wait another half an hour and then they made us watch the recording. Look, it was put in the bag, said the store employee. But the batteries are first scanned and put on the table, then put in the other small bag on the hanger and the other clothes and socks are put in two different large bags. I pointed out that it was not put in the same bag but in a different third bag. When they looked again, it was seen that the product was put in another bag and not given to us. The employee did not express his regret for any apology or mistake made. Closer to it made us wait 45 minutes. He said and did the return. I wanted to buy a new battery and pay for it, but he said I had to queue up again and pay. I said you made me wait here for about an hour and I left the products. My advice to you is to check your belongings after every purchase.

I don’t normally like to leave bad reviews so consider this a warning…shop at your own risk. I love a good bargain and can usually find larger size shoes for my son. However I will not be back. I’m making a decision not to give my hard earned money to any business where customer service is not part of their business.

I have been there few times and its been alright. I am surprised to see the reviews by different people. It is a hit an a miss place but the things that you can the find are always at a great deal and that is why people come here. Don't expect it to be like JC penny or Macy's, it is after all Ross and that how should be our expectations. I normally go there for last minute pants, shirts, socks, belt, a luggage item or some gift idea and have never been disappointed. Guys be positive about businesses especially post pandemic where everyone is struggling.

Store was disorganized. Staffing problems and Store AC was not working well. Cashier was professional and courteous. Bathroom was acceptable. Prices were reasonable and I bought some merchandise too.

I popped into the store to find some evening blouses. There were none. Variety of petite clothing can be hard to find at Ross. I have shopped at Ross Downtown Miami, and Ross in Lancaster California. I found a gorgeous hang bag at that store for my Birthday in May. However, nothing caught my eye in this store in Chantilly, VA. The layout was a bit congested. As I was taking my time through the rows of clothes I happened to look down to the floor, and I saw a tiny Spanish baby girl by herself seemly hiding from her mom. I looked around, and I didn't see anyone trying to get to her, so I whispered- "go back to mommy sweetheart before you get lost". She just glared at me with her little eyes, and tried to find another place to hide (I figured she probably speak s Spanish so she doesn't know what I am saying- well I even mumbled ("Donde Esta Tu mama") but she ignored me, and continued with her 'little game'. I continued to look in the direction of 2 Spanish women close by who were busy checking out some wares to see if they were connected to this small child- no they were unconcerned, and busily checking out the racks. I looked around to see if there were any store attendants on the floor that I could alert- but there were None- which is the norm in all Ross stores. I just decided it was time to move on, and not become too consumed- because as a parent, and a teacher that's how I am. I am always seeing to the needs of people, and especially children. Even as I walked away the kid was still moving between the racks trying to hide. I only, sighed, "Oh dear Jesus, please protest her, and jerk the parent's conscience". We really have to be more vigilant as parents, and business owners what we allow in our spheres. This world is becoming more violent, and wicked to exist in, therefore vigilance is paramount. We can't wait for something horrible to occur before we take precautions.

This is the one at Greenbriar Shopping Center. I used to visit that store every week, I live walking distance, but on March 12 I went with my daughter to that location only to have our night ruined. My daughter went to the restroom and it was locked, so she asked the oxygenated lady; Can you unlocked the door for me? In a very rude way she said I don't know!, I'm here right now! (In the front doing nothing) 😲 I was in shock and very sad when I saw my daughter's face. I hope you never find yourself in the same situation with your children or grandchildren. Thank God we have Marshall's at the other side of the street.

I've seen better maintained flea markets in the mountains. Cramped, hot, dirty and there's a urine soaked homeless man out front for the last 3 weeks. Badgers customers coming and going.
