The employees are generally knowledgeable, professional, and helpful - really great. But I've scheduled 3 appts over the last two months to replace my windshield and every time I arrive (20 min away), they tell me my windshield isn't there. 3 times! Before I leave, they say the part is there. The company has a severe issue this year (2022). If the part isn't there, please just reschedule with me before I leave.

I didn't like that fact that my insurance company's partnership with Safelite drove my decision to do business. Having said that, they're really lacking in customer service! If the money is already in the bag, why put forth the effort. This is my second windshield in the last year. I managed about 3k mile so I have concerns about the quality of glass. Hope it hold up better this time.

Hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever had. As someone in healthcare and in customer service as well, I'm amazed by the oversight, rudeness, lack of professionalism and apparent disregard for helping those in need. Having a broken windshield isn't a life or death matter, im not dying, I'm not suffering. However, to schedule 5 different appointments at their suggestion, and then all be canceled one after the other because of logistical errors on their part.....is discouraging. Then again, we all make mistakes. But what I personally have an issue with is the rudeness of the staff at the desk. They talk to you with a horrible attitude. And a review doesn't mean all of the staff at this business are terrible. However I have not had a single pleasant encounter yet. I've been hung up on, cut off midsentence and dismissed, and given dismissive attitude when asking for verification of information I was emailed regarding the FIFTH RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.

This review is solely about the scheduling and customer service especially for Geico policy holders - not the repair work itself. Made appointment through Geico for a same-day repair, seemingly confirmed the appointment by phone with Safelite after being on hold for half an hour, arrived at Safelite for appointment … told that there was a mistake and no repair could be done. It would have been helpful if (a) Geico didn’t schedule a repair that wasn’t available and (b) the Safelite employees told me this over the phone, rather than in person (after another 15-30 minute wait).

Received outstanding service. Was scheduled for a drop off and complete by 5PM. However, crew replaced my windshield BEFORE 11:00AM. Jennifer and Ricardo provided excellent customer service. So sorry to read the other 1 star reviews. My experience was 5 stars! Thanks.

Excellent service from friendly staff. And they had my vent window in stock, whereas everyone else wanted a week or more to order it. Only qualm was automated computer sending me repeated notices about my broken windshield necessitating wiper replacement, when my reservation was for a vent window.

I made an appointment to have my OEM glass replaced, but never ordered the glass, and they lied about calling me to cancel the appointment. I showed up for my appointment and they were just completely unhelpful. Also, the manager blamed me for not calling the store directly, but if you call the phone number, it rings in a store in Maryland and the Maryland store doesn't communicate with the Fairfax store. There is literally no way to call the store. The level of incompetence of this place is incredible.

Simply, had the worst service experience ever. They charged me $500 and kept my car and then lied to me over and over again that my car's windshield is being replaced but in fact they did not have it in the stock, but everyday they were saying that my car will be ready the next day. Complete dissatisfaction. My vehicle stayed at this establishment for over a month for a windshield replacement due to their inability to find a replacement windshield. My insurance company found the replacement windshield, however, this company would not use the replacement because it was not a windshield provider they traditionally work with. This Safelite establishment also lost the windshield wipers I provided them to replace the old ones. Car owner beware - find a reputable windshield repair establishment! Rep came to the house and was friendly, but they did absolutely nothing for my windshield. It was a small star crack and looks EXACTLY the same as before. I expected that it would still be visible, but no repair was done. I tried to Gillette follow up with customer service but didn’t receive a response. Looks like insurance paid $71 for them the clean my windshield with a rag. Service: Auto windshield repair
