With this shop being right down the street from where I work it's both quick and efficient. I brought in a vehicle I had just bought from Maryland for Virginia inspections and emissions and they took care of me quickly. On top of that they also replaced my air filter for me. I highly recommend giving this shop a try. They are all great people!

On Thursday April 22, 2021 my 2019 Altima having exactly 16,000 miles and change at that moment would not start. I was stunned. I have been leasing cars for the past 20 years turning them over on 2 year lease terms sometimes 3 years which has been continuous trouble free driving until this. I Googled and discovered the Shell station next to the Merrifield Post office .7 miles away on Lee Hwy. Alex from that station was at the scene of my dilemma fast. He hooked up a small battery pack jumper to it starting the engine in a flash. I revved the engine, turned the car off and it started on its own right away. Alex said the battery was the wrong battery for the car that it was too small and not a good match. I paid Alexa $50.00 cash and we were on our separate ways. I asked Alex to order me a new battery and call me when ready. I went to Mom and Pop’s next nearby to pick up coffee and the car would not start when I returned to it with coffee cup in hand. A Mosaic District security guy happened to be standing on the sidewalk directly in front of me. He offered to fetch a similar battery jumper at his office close by, steps away, and viola I was in business again driving directly to the Shell station. I tipped the security guy before driving away. Alex was surprised to see me. I described what happened suggesting that I would rent a car leaving mine with him until the a new battery is acquired and installed. An Enterprise Car Rental is close by and Alex said Enterprise delivers to the Shell station routinely. Nope, not for me. The Enterprise rep on the phone call was likely in another state having no idea how to rent a car to me and have it delivered. We were trying to work with her on Alex’s iPhone speaker feature and Alex terminated the call in our mutual frustration. Next strategy, Alex asked me to drive him to a nearby auto supply shop where he picked up the appropriate replacement battery. We returned to the Shell station and in a matter of minutes the new battery was installed. I paid $198.00. On the way home later I stopped and bought gas. Now then, the station is dated. I got the drift that it has been closed and very recently reopened. Also the pump I used for fueling was soul crushingly slow. But, in the end, Alex at this Shell station efficiently solved my problem that had multiple twists along the way to success in less time than could reasonably be expected. Five stars for spectacular service under less than optimum conditions.

If you value your car, AVOID this mechanic. My car needed 2 new tires to pass safety inspection and I made a huge mistake by trusting these mechanics. The tires were ordered on a Saturday and I was told they would arrive within a few days. I took my car there the following Saturday at 9am to have a the new tires mount, balanced, and included a front end alignment and a oil change. I left the mechanic instructions to have my car ready for me to pick up the next day and call me with any updates. I received no updates from the mechanic at all. Sunday afternoon, I came to pick the car up to find it is still on the lift, and none of the mechanics are working on Sunday to provide an explanation, only the cashier for the convenience store. After contacting the mechanic I learn that the tires had not arrived and only the oil change was completed. The mechanic "didn't know" I was picking the car up on Sunday, even though the cashier knew I would be there to get the car on Sunday. I had the tire order cancelled, paid for my oil change and had my car lowered from the lift and returned to me. When I got in my car, I found plastic parts on the floor from my glove box and the cabin air filter removed. I did not give permission for them to inspect or remove my cabin filter. They also did not call to ask if I even wanted it replaced. After talking to the cashier, I learn that they discarded the filter and didn't tell me. After leaving the shop to buy a new one, i discover they had removed my intake filter as well, once again without my permission and did not inform me of this! If it weren't for the secondary filter that my car is equipped with, my motor would have sucked the debris and potentially killed the engine. Had I known any of the actions taken by the mechanic I would not had driven the car. The lack of communication, inspecting/removing other parts of my car without permission, and lying to me left me with a disgusted opinion. How unprofessional, rude, and lazy the mechanics are lead me to this negative review. Do not do business with such unscrupulous and shameless mechanics. There are plenty of good mechanics in the area looking for business.

Syed was exceptional and provided honest feedback . Provided several options even included options for repair completed elsewhere. I felt well informed and able to make a decision in my financial interest Repair was completed as promised. Give this service station a try, you won't be disappointed.
