Very pleased with the care we received for our dog. Everyone we encountered was very knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. The facilities were very clean and comfortable. It was such a relief to have this option when we needed help for our dog to control his seizures. We really appreciated the caring attitude of everyone we talked with.

I wish more people took the time to leave good reviews and give this place grace. When I discovered my boy unresponsive I immediately called and he received the critical care he needed for his emergency. The charges are very transparent here and options were discussed if we couldn’t afford it such as care credit. The entire staff, both shifts, were compassionate and professional. It’s an emergency place so you don’t understand what’s going on behind the scenes. Treat the staff with the same kindness you’d expect. Our family and BooBoo thank you and we hope to not see you for any more emergencies but it’ll be the first place we call again if need be.

Although busy, the doctor and staff were excellent at keeping my wife and I informed, while giving us up front treatment plans and cost estimates. Their attention to my stubborn cat was top notch. The level of personal care the doctors took to ensure my cats survival. We are truly great full for everything they did for us and the measures they took to help in every way possible.

I don’t ever leave these reviews but I wanted to give a sincere thank you to the entire staff. On Friday I came in with my pup to have him cross the rainbow bridge. From the moment I called and spoke to the girl at the front desk, I felt that my pup and I are were cared about. I was told check in would be a very quick process and we would be placed into a room for the procedure. Jack passed away in my arms before we even filling out the registration form though. As soon as he started to pass, a vet tech gently approached me and took him to evaluate him. Less than 30 seconds later, the vet came and got me because he was taking his food al breaths and she wanted to know if I wanted to be with him. Of course I did. Once his heart officially stopped beating, we were given a private room to say goodbye. I’m sorry I don’t remember the names of everyone present that morning, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you for giving me the gift of being there with my best friend when he took his final breath. For being so compassionate. For truly caring and recognizing how deeply I loved him. I will always hold gratitude for you in my heart.

Front desk were nice and the back staff fantastic. Brought my dog in, they assessed him and told me what might be going on and in all I was there about 3 hours and left there knowing what I needed to do. I was relieved and satisfied with the end results. I have always come here when my vet is closed, they have always been nice and through with my pets and they keep you up to date. Great place!!

My 6 month old puppy swallowed a mask while I was out of town and all of the Vet ERs in Richmond (where we live) were full. My parents called ahead to the Virginia Veterinary Center and they were waiting for him when he arrived and got him right back. They were so kind and took such good care of him. I am so grateful my little guy was in such great hands!!! would give more than 5 stars if I could.

We had a late evening emergency with our 1 yo pit-bull. He had eaten something he shouldn't have and had a blockage. Poor guy was trembling in pain. They did the surgery that night and took care of him for 2 days. They were kind, understanding, and caring. So very thankful for them, they saved our sweet boy! He is healing quite well and is getting back to his happy, goofy self!!

The front desk staff were great! The nurse was very thorough in explaining everything to me. Dr. Parsley was also very patient with me and explained her thoughts and recommendations for Sadie. This was our first visit and we will be back if we ever have another emergency with either one of our dogs. I appreciated the doctor taking time to explain everything to me. I know my dogs issue was not priority one but she still sat with me and took time to go over everything

We sadly had to say goodbye to our baby girl, Elsy. We were taken care of and we were given the time and privacy to say goodbye. She was cremated and came home today. She was put in a beautiful box and with Her paw print. ❤️ They really took care of her and our family during this difficult time.

Great people who really care. Saved my Bella after she ingested xylitol in gum she must have picked up on a walk. Scary night with her becoming hypoglycemic. However, capable Vet and Staff helped to stabilize her quickly and send her home with common sense instructions on how to care for her. She slept through the night (see picture) and is rallying now. FIVE STAR CARE! Quick, caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Not the scary kind of emergency care where they take your animal and you don't hear anything for hours....VERY GRATEFUL FOR THESE FOLKS.
