The UPS store in Lorton VA is one of the best UPS stores I have been to. The owner Kiran & his son Sonny have a “Ritz Carlton” approach when dealing with their customers . They go out of the way for their clients and staff is what makes this store so SPECIAL!! I heard one customer say she drove 40 minutes to come to the Lorton UPS store because of the exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this store !

Excellent customer service! I needed to get fingerprinted for a new job, and this UPS location provided the service. I have weak fingerprints, and I was having a lot of difficulty with the machine to read my fingerprints. Kiran, the store manager, called customer service, and he helped me throughout the entire process, making sure it was done correctly. It took an hour and he made sure it worked. Thanks, Kiran!

The person handling my Amazon return was dismissive of me, impatient and curt. He charged me $30 to return my item because it was oversized but when I objected, he magically reduced the charge to $19. It definitely felt like he thought less of Amazon customer returns then the regular customers.

I’m convinced that the people at this location are bias towards folks shopping at Amazon and returning items OR discriminatory for other reasons! I had an Amazon box but my item was not being returned to Amazon I was shipping to another company. The guy behind the counter was rude as Hell…..the employees are talking in the back room and not trying to help customers. Thank you FedEx in Lorton Station!!!!

The UPS store in Lorton, VA is the only place I go for my shipping and notary service needs. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. They take the time to understand what you need and recommend the best course of action. When I needed documents notarized and my parents could not easily come into the store, the employee came out to the parking lot to make the process easier. Highly recommend this store and it’s staff!

The store is great but the customer service is greater! I help a handicapped person daily that needed some papers to be notarized and Karan (sp?) was so kind and helpful. He came to the car so that my friend didn't have to get his wheelchair, he checked everything to make sure it was correct and saw through the process of mailing our documents so that we were comfortable. It couldn't have been any better. His kindness and courteous spirit will have me forever as a customer.

Some words I would use to describe the ups stores Lorton location and my experience there would be: uncomfortable, unprofessional, inadequate, unorganized/dirty and dissatisfying. Im a frequent Amazon shopper and this store was really close to me before I recently moved, I was often forced to return products here due to the proximity and almost every single experience I have had here has left me upset with how I was treated. I’ve been addressed very rudely by the short old man who time and time again displayed a grumpy attitude every morning I came in, to my knowledge his name is Kiran or Karan. Whether it be yelling at customers, communicating in a very short tempered manner or harassing individuals asking for their social media to leave good reviews to cancel out the negative ones that are a REAL representation of this store. He’s yelled at me for not taping packages when I just wanted help and charged me a dollar for tape and 4 dollars to print a piece of paper from my email. They repeatedly tell me to use their rental computers which end up costing more than their advertised prices for printing and are slow, hard to use and half the time are down for maintenance yet customers are insisted to use these computers because they bring in more money, as people struggle with these faulty computers they spend more time, bringing in more money. Due to my negative experiences and since I’ve moved from the Lorton area, I started to go to other locations and I’ve learned charging a dollar for tape is something that no other ups store does and other ups stores will not charge to print pages that have been emailed. I feel as though this behavior is unacceptable in a professional environment, i understand trying to make an honest dollar but this is not right and preys on customers lack of knowledge in order to get money out of them, this man is a scammer. I have also been charged 2, 3 and EVEN UP TO 4 DOLLARS to tape packages by the Hispanic woman who I have often seen working in the morning, I’ve had kind experiences with her but her doing this is not acceptable, especially when I see customers before me in line get away with just paying one dollar, I wonder where the line is drawn I’ve also seen people not have to pay at all for taping, it seems they just pick and choose whenever they want a quick buck. I’m utterly dissatisfied and going to the ups store had become a dreadful experience for me to the point where I just kept my Amazon items I wanted to return if the ups store Lorton was the only place I could return them. All my experiences here have not been negative, I’ve seen people like sunny, who I’ve gotten familiar with work hard to make it a positive environment, engage with customers and make you feel like you’re being looked out for. Overall, I’m glad I don’t have to come to this store anymore as I’ve moved but this is just an example of poor management and a lack of care for customer service. Although not all my experiences haven’t been negative, it have and it’s been enough for me to feel the need to write out a review for a store I live too far to visit now anyways. If you’re in the Lorton area and don’t want to experience this I urge you to try a different store, the stonebridge location is excellent as well as the alban road one. I reiterate that any positive review of this business is due to the solicitation and harassment by the owner, please take them with a grain of salt - I hope this helps.

I can not say enough great things about the UPS Lorton store! I have been using them for several years and always receive excellent customer service. I have shipped valuable and fragile items with them. These items always arrive to their destination safely and complete. I have never had a broken item arrive to it’s destination. They also helped me with all materials for two funerals, including reproducing large photos and making programs. Their work was excellent! In addition, they are so nice and so polite!! Even when they are very busy they take the time to help you - they don’t try to push you out the door. They go above and beyond! I will not go anywhere else!! Highly recommend!!

Recently had several boxes of fragile family heirlooms packed and shipped to multiple locations from this store. Kiran did a wonderful job packing and shipping them. Everything arrived promptly, and nothing was damaged. Highly recommend for your packing and shipping needs. But people, if you are just retuning your Amazon packages, from here or anywhere, please be kind and use your own tape to package them up. That’s your responsibility.
