Low tire light came on ..... I called explained my predicament. Three hours from home and a doctors appointment to boot. The took me in as soon as I arrived and made life much better. Super nice staff and excellent work.

I had another great visit to 301Auto Repair last week. I made an appointment to have them check my brakes because I heard a slight chirping noise when I backed up and also hear a rattle that seemed to be coming from the rear axel area. My experiences at 301Auto have always been exceptional and this visit was no different from the time Andrea greeted me, to her phone call to let me know my brakes were fine and to let me know the mechanic needed to tighten up my exhaust because it was coming into contact with the axel when I hit a bump. They completed the work right away and I’m very happy with the repairs and everyone there at 301Auto Repair! If you need anything checked, repaired or just have a question about your vehicle I highly recommend that you call them first. It will be the only call you’ll need to make!

Poor communication, poor business professionalism. I called Friday 8/6 to see if they could fix my car and explained the situation to the person on the phone. The person asked me to email some photos over to them so they could see what’s up, so I did. After this I was told to go ahead and have it towed over later in the day so there would be room for it, so I did, and I gave my key and info to them upon arrival. I get a call 6 days later on Thursday 8/12 to someone telling me that, actually, they won’t do the work on the car except for the thermostat housing, which still leaves my car inoperable at the moment. I was told this was because they don’t feel “comfortable working on cars that other people worked on” since I had already removed the plastic nose, radiator, and fans myself and had them sitting in the passenger seats. Now, mind you, photos of my car in that exact condition were viewed by them before they agreed to have me tow it over there, AND they waited 6 days to tell me they’re not going to do the work. I’m not at all mad because they don’t want to work on the car after I have, I’m mad because they saw the vehicle prior, agreed to receive it, wasted a week of my time, THEN tell me they don’t want to do it. Now, because of their lack of upfront communication it’s costing me MORE money in the form of a second tow (insurance will only cover the first tow to the shop). It seems like an internal miscommunication between the front and the actual mechanics, but that’s not the customer’s problem. Greg (I think?) was very kind, but it’s incredibly disappointing that this unfolded the way it did. I own my own business, and if I agree to do a job I follow through with the work or I at least go out of my way to help resolve the issue if I can’t. I hope this is not how they typically operate. If it were me, I’d at least offer to have it towed back for all the trouble.
