Excellent customer service. Wait staff is extremely attentive. Food is made fresh so it can take a bit but we encountered quick turn around from the time of order. Family owned business with delicious food! If you’re looking for Mexican or Hispanic groceries there is also a small store attached.

The place need Gordon Ramsey. The tacos were great but the place was filthy. Face lifting is a must. Bums hanging around outside. Place belongs in Tijuana not Newport news Virginia.

If your goal is to eat with the locals then you have found the place. It is attached to a small store that you will walk through. The food will have more bone, gristle than you are used to.It will also have more flavor. They had to rustle up an English menu for us. If you don't often eat authentic, I suggest you pass but if you do and like it, go and enjoy while you practice your Spanish

Cute restaurant connected to store. Loved it! It was my first time there.I found it online because I really, really wanted some Birria tacos. I was not disappointed! They come in an order of three and they were sooo good! The consumé for the tacos was equally delicious. I will definitely Italy be making a return trip... and soon.

I have been here a few times and it is hands-down the best Mexican food you will find on the peninsula. Enchiladas, birria tacos and bistek a la Mexicana are all amazing. The service is fantastic, my waitress Victoria also makes sure everything is in order and service is always timely. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for delicious Mexican food!

Great customer service. I had the taste for tamales today. Wasn't able to get the ones I wanted, but got some anyway and they didn't disappoint. The nice lady even threw one in for free. Will definitely come back when the variety of tamales are available!

This is a small Mexican restaurant with a grocery area. They had a nice menu but it is very authentic. Do not go here looking for chips and salsa. I got the pizza birria and it was served and prepared like you might get at home. Flavor was very good. Be prepared to know what you want and to speak a little Spanish. I used Google translate and it was fine. I will go back.

Awesome lunch time experience! I got the carne azada, kids got flautas and quesadilla. Both were huge portions and were gobbled up. service was quick, and food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

This is my new spot my homies! Try the Mangolada! It's in the freezer by the register! Hand down great service. No fountain drinks, which dosnt bother me at all. It may effect the Karen's of the world but I like it. they have cans and bottles. Feels very home like. Thank you for the great service and food.

Food was delicious, tamales are really good :D If you pass by don’t forget to get the waters they have available. I tried Melon and was tasty. The store has lots of Mexican goods you cannot find in a regular grocery around here.
