Incompetent help, useless self checkout. I was ready to check out and was directed to the new self checkout aisle. Once there I received nothing but useless, incompetent help. I couldn't get the plastic bags separated, but the young woman who was supposed to assist seemed to enjoy my predicament. She smiled and did nothing. Then, when I placed my items on the right side of the register, I got a blaring robo message about an unknown item. Only then did this woman tell me I had my items on the wrong side. After that things only got worse. The register kept asking me what kind of card was I using? I must have answered that question 4 times. Then it wanted to know if this was a Visa debit or a regular debit. I answered Visa. Wrong answer, I guess. My card was declined. (Which is the first time ever.) At that I had enough. I said I was done and started to walk out. At that this idiot of a woman called out, "Have a nice day!" To which I wanted to say eff off, but restrained myself and left. That's it for me. From now on I will only shop for household items online.

I've a been big fan of BB&B for a very long time and have been a customer of the Williamsburg store for 8 years. The Williamsburg BB&B recently revamped the entire layout of the store and added some health and beauty products. It's a much cleaner and estheticly pleasing approach. I was surprised to see a favorite facial cleanser that is hard to find in local stores (so I bought it). The company has decided to focus on special/brands exclusive to BB&B. Though I miss the variety, bought several new household and decorative items on two recent visits and am pleased with the overall quality of the new brands.

Went there for a shower curtain. The selection did not have a lot of variety. All of them were light colored cotton. Nice but no other choices. I did find something and prices were reasonable, just disappointed with the limited selection.

I always have a good experience at this store and it starts with the top. Doesn’t matter who they are they all offer to help you, they go out of their way. Hope they never leave Williamsburg, VA!!

It was much quieter than we expected in the store, which gave the staff time to be friendly and helpful. At checkout, the clerk was kind enough to "one up" our coupon without our even asking.

It's very attractive store. I went looking for sheets but found them to be a bit expensive and couldn't get the color or pattern I wanted in queen size. I ended up only buying one item in kitchen wares and I probably won't return.

They had some new EarBuds so hopefully they work better than my last pair I got by Sharper

Shopping experience was ok. I would give more stars but there was an older couple in there. Dressed in Sunday best. They had no mask, no appearance of a mask. No one told them the weren't allowed without masks. Thanks, Beth
