Had problems with a battery on my Honda Ridgeline. Came in first thing in the morning and even thought I didn't have an appointment a technician had an opening and checked the battery out. It was bad, but since it was still under warranty, battery was replaced. Finished up the paperwork and was on my way in less than 30 minutes. Customer service by all the employees in the show room. They Greeted each customer as they came in the door, explained the scheduling and appointments process to all. Outstanding Store on James Street.

Perfect combination of online and in-store experience! I found the specific tires I wanted for my Chevy Volt on the Les Schwab website (Continental PureContact). I called the local shop, and although the tires weren't in stock, the person I talked to said they could have them in two days. I made an appointment, showed up, the tires were there, I had free coffee and popcorn (it was good!) while I waited, used the free guest wifi, and I paid the expected amount. I'm completely satisfied, and happy to have found a tire shop I can recommend!

Good tires. Good price. Good turnaround. I trust Les Schwab as they have provided consistently good tires and adjustments as needed. Efficient if somewhat surly service.

My son took his 2001 Ford Mustang to Les Schwab for a brake job. While working on it, a clasp broke on a hose and the hose completely blew. They pushed the car into the parking lot and are now telling him this was not their responsibility. It cost him $380 to now not be able to drive his car. Great job Les Schwab. Update: So first of all, after paying the Ford Dealership $1400, we found out it wasn't a hose that blew, it was the intake manifold, after research I found out that plastic manifolds can easily break by mishandling, or hitting it, and the car was still up in the air when it happened. And now, the car is back at Les Schwab, and they are now charging my son another $700 for the back brakes, after telling him, 2 days ago that the back brake were fine. Then they told him the front brakes are good (he paid $380 2 days ago for that) until he noticed that the roters weren't turning and said something. Then, the guy tells him, maybe when we put the tires back on it will loosen up, so my son went to the other side and tried that one and it was worse! Now they're saying the pistons seized up in the front so they have to replace those! And just before we left, the guy working on the car admitted he's never worked on brakes on a Mustang and he's not sure what's going on! Really?? These are supposed to be professionals!! My poor son!

DO NOT WALK IN AND EXPECT SERVICE IN ANY SORT OF TIMELY MANNER. I’d been coming to the James St Les Schwab for the last twenty (or so) years for tires, tire rotation, syping, & even brakes. The tires, rotation. & syping were fine. The brake job they did was poor. Stick with tire stuff. I’ve (almost) always came in before the store opens. I could always get in and out fast. There was a year I couldn’t get my tires rotated due to odd work hours. I was finally able to go in at 8 am on 9-28-22 to get my tires rotated. I was the first person at the counter. I was then told that they wouldn’t even look at my car for two, or more, hours because “We have all these appointments before you.” Funny how there’s these big signs everywhere posted in super bold print that states how all appointments take precedence over any walk in. Funny because there aren’t any. Might as well put a sign on the door that says “No scumbag walk ins allowed. We don’t want your kind here.” I won’t be going that location again. I might try the one in Lynden or maybe it might be best to take my business to the nearest Discount Tire Company. *edit* Was sent a standard apology by someone working for Les Schwab. They said they’d “do better next time”. There isn’t going to be a next time. I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Great service, Quality work, Quality parts, reasonably priced, Very Friendly service, and Really appreciate the management and teams' Honesty and Quality Recommentations at the James St location, which I, my friends and co-workers have been doing business with for many years! Ask the questions, ALL the questions and any tough ones regarding any work that they recommended you need to have done on your vehicle. They will happily explain and show you everything you need to make a well informed decision. 10 years+

I had yet another fantastic experience at the James St Les Schwab this week. I showed up mid-morning with a suspension-related issue that was undoubtedly self-inflicted. The techs made time to put my van on the lift and got me back on the road quickly. I can't thank them enough for once again helping me and my family out. Special thanks to technician John!

When my dealership turned me away after purchasing a brand new car two days before because I didn't have an appointment, Les Schwab helped me check the tire pressures and reset the light (super quick fix!). Now a couple months later, I got a nail in my tire and they did a complimentary repair. So very impressed with this location and service. I will absolutely come back once I need tires!!

Slipped in to get a flat tire fixed. They checked my tire pressure, fixed a flat, and looked at my brake pads. The sitting area was tidy, service quick, and plenty of parking space. Took about an hour for them to do all that after I walked in, time I spent at the coffeeshop across the street and Kulshan brewery. Once that was all said and done, the gentleman at the front desk went over all the options with me- quotes for tires, brakes, and struts. I brought up a few things I wanted to consider and the staff member discussed them with me. Walked out without paying a dime, a solid diagnosis of the issues I went in for, and quotes for all of them. Will definitely come again.
