I reached out to On The Go Moving about a local commercial move for a client. They provided a free site survey upon request and quoted us afterward. When we got the job, Jessica was very helpful with scheduling and coordinating everything. There were no issues at the shipper. However, we ran into significant problems when the receiver refused to accept the items. This was not On The Go's fault, and they patiently waited on site while we figured things out with the client and receiver. Ultimately they were on site for several hours longer than anticipated and had to provide extra labor to offload their trucks. Despite this, they did not charge us extra for the wasted time and additional work, and honored their original quote. I was very impressed with the level of service and highly recommend them.

The good: - Very straight forward planning, friendly support staff. - The on-site team worked really hard and got the job done pretty fast and were generally very nice (see caveats below). The bad: We got massively underquoted, ended up paying *double* the quote. Was not given a good opportunity to sign up for proper insurance (this is partially on me but their staff seems poorly trained in explaining the insurance tiers), 2 large items ended up badly damaged and I will have to pay a fair amount to get them repaired out of pocket. One of the team members spoke 0 english which made communication difficult at times. Overall we can unfortunately not recommend this company based on this experience and will not be using them again.

Edit 1.5 years later: see below for my original post. We moved again and got several quotes, and ended up using On the Go again because we had such a good experience last time. A few changes this time though: they no longer offer packing services. It seems like they had newer workers (my husband had to disassemble the refrigerator while they all stood by watching him, they had to try different ways to get things out of doors and around corners which were unsuccessful more often than we would have expected, etc)., and at the end there was some needless hassle to get a discount applied that we had disclosed from the beginning, and to get billed for actual time rather than the longer estimated time. Also, we got to go around looking for all the dings in walls and furniture afterwards, whereas the first time around they were quite conscientious in pointing it out to us immediately. In the end, they were still quick, and I don’t have any lingering complaints about the work they did, but I do think they have suffered some turnover as many others have lately and we might not be so quick to use or recommend them again. Original review: I had a great experience with On the Go! To begin with, OTG was super quick to respond to my request for a quote, and gave me the most competitive rate for higher manpower. The day of, our guys showed up on time, all COVID precautions in place, and ready to work. They were respectful of our things, efficient, pleasant, and at the end of the day we even came in under estimate (they worked hard and fast!). We have since unpacked and found no issues so far. Our piano is in good shape, everything they carried upstairs looks good, and the day went by with a lot less stress and time than I was expecting. Service: Local moving

Our experience with On The Go Movers exceeded all expectations. We moved halfway across the country and needed their services unloading a shipping container. They worked with me prior to the move and were flexible and helpful with getting everything scheduled. On the day of our move, our property had somehow double booked us with another resident for freight elevator usage and I was panicked about this. Our movers, Jackson, Jesus, and Juan, didn’t miss a beat. They worked out a plan with the other movers and then proceeded to incredibly efficiently unload our belongings and get them up to our apartment. They were friendly and hardworking, and we couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience!

Joe’s team did a great job moving us out of our Seattle row house to our new Redmond home. They finished ahead of schedule, on budget, didn’t damage anything, and we’re a pleasure to work with the whole time. I was sort of shocked by how efficient they were. It was the best experience we’ve ever had with movers. The Seattle house posed significant difficulty as well due to the four story lofted design and they navigated that deftly. They will get our referral for anybody we know in the area looking for a quality moving team.

We worked with On the Go Moving for moving from a condo (and a storage unit in a separate location) to a house a few weeks back. Despite it being a holiday weekend, On the Go was responsive, on-time, and completed the entire move within four hours. Great service and happy to recommend!

Excellent moving service. They wrapped the stairwell in moving blankets so it didn't get damaged, helped with disassmbly, shrink-wrapped the sofa and other living room furniture, packed the truck efficiently and carefully, and were very polite.

My mom recently passed and we needed to get her husband moved plus move some of her stuff into storage. We moved her a number of times and we have used On The Go the last three. We moved her husband on the first day. They were not able to meet their scheduled time due to employees calling in sick but we still got our move done and we used the time to prep for next day. Steve and team (I did not catch their names)were simply amazing! Courteous, efficient and careful with all the items. On the second day we had the the same team but a new leader. They did an exceptional job on loading the storage unit for us. Same thing- very efficient (saving time without sacrificing quality) and courteous. We moved her 7 times over the last few years and it was always a big job. Finding On The Go made these last moves so much better. I would not use anyone else for a move.

They packed our items terribly! We had so many broken things when they moved them from home to home. They didn't label boxes! See pics We found kitchen items with garage items and so on. One pic below shows knives just tossed in with other items which was a total hazard to unpack. See pics Our items were placed in storage by them and it literally looked like they threw them in there. See pics So many items were broken, crushed and lost! Part of their packing that we paid a considerable amount of money to have done was to box up a deflated bouncy house that was in the garage. Instead of disconnecting the bouncing house from the blower, they literally cut it! See pics Our china was stacked on top of each other with a graham cracker box taped around ten plates! See pics I am certain that somebody with zero packing experience could have done a better job than their so called experienced packers. When they came out to look at the storage facility the staff was shocked to see how the packing department moved the items and how it was thrown in. See pics It was a total disaster, I would give them no stars if that were an option. Do NOT hire this company if you value your belongings! I hate writing bad reviews but if we can save you from losing your valuable items and not getting stressed out like crazy, then it has been worth it.

These guys trashed our stuff. We purchased cost of replacement insurance. They acknowledge the damage occurred but insist that we provide 'proof of purchase' to make a claim. Some of our stuff I got from my grandparents. Other stuff was purchased 20 years ago. They have very low expertise disassembling and assembling furniture. For example, when they disassembled two large, similar but different glass wardrobes, they put all of the hardware in one bag. Also, when assembling a glass bookshelf, my wife had to help them because they couldn't figure it out and were resorting to using tape to hold it together. Speaking of tape, the tape they packed the same bookshelf with will take hours to scratch off. Mainly, though our complaint is the vast amount of stuff they damaged and their unwillingness to honor the cost of replacement insurance we purchased from them.
