Went here to get my tires replaced. Got a quote for tires that was $1 less per tire than one of the discount places. And way less than the dealership (even with the buy 3 get 1 free). In addition to the tires, they were going to do an alignment but would only charge it if it needed it. It didn't so we didn't get charged. Very friendly staff and was great working with them. Will stop in for more work in the future.

Had an electrical problem with a 2005 Jaguar. Made an appointment at Fields Jaguar first. Had to wait 29 days to get an appointment. Took the car there early on the appointment day which was Monday. Called to see progress 2 days later. They said "the guy who used to do that quit and we are short on technicians. You need to pay $390 now and maybe we'll get at it by the end of the month (which was 28 days later). Agreed to pay later told them I will pick up the car and want a refund for the $390. I then took to Silver lake auto. They called right away. It took a while but they finally diagnosed the problem. Just picked it up and no more problems. Very clean and professionally run shop. Top notch customer service at Silver Lake Auto in Oconomowoc! They went for a test drive with me when I dropped of my truck to understand the problems I was having, diagnosed the issues properly, had great communication on how they were going to fix them and offered me a courtesy car to drive while they fixed by truck. To put a cherry on top... they cleaned my truck truck inside and out! Thank you! I’ve used SLAC for various things over the years both personal and professional (I’m a GM for a local collision repair center) and the service has always been great. Just last night I needed my wife’s car towed from Oconomowoc to Watertown and even though it was after hours, Rob and Sean coordinated everything with their driver who happened to be in the area and got it done way quicker than I anticipated. When I called to pay the tow bill, Amanda was just as friendly as she always is. I’ll continue to use them moving forward and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We had an issue with our truck gear shift not working at the Okauchee lake boat launch and Shawn came out within 30 minutes and found the problem and fixed it so that we could get the boat home and the truck to a shop so that it could be repaired. Shawn was very helpful because he took the time to explain to us what happened. We would highly recommend this place.

Returning to Oconomowoc after 20 years away, this is not the place my dad used when I was a kid. It was bought by a dealer some time ago. I ended up with far more problems after the over $200 I paid for battery replacement and over $400 (surprise!) paid in "diagnostic" charges. When I took the car home it leaked oil all over my garage. I'm giving 2 stars for their willingness to "make it right" as they cleaned my garage right away but they're very expensive and I didn't trust them with my car anymore, even if it was free. They recommended almost $9000 in further repairs. When I took the car to more reputable mechanics (Lake Country Tire in Okauchee and Armstrong Auto in MKE) I was told the car was fine for the most part and just needed better battery connectors. I will not go back.
