Good luck getting these people on the phone. I've wasted an hour of my life on hold listening too how they clean their cars this morning. I'm currently waiting to be picked up (over an hour) now and still cant get an answer. I dont know what's up with this branch but something needs to change here.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! The car I had reserved was not available when I got there so I received a vehicle upgrade to a Chrysler Pacifica Van for the same price! Drove all the way down to Florida and back! It was very roomy and comfortable! No complaints other than the navigation system needing to be updated! Will definitely rent again in the future!

Usually everything is fine with this service. The Nissan rogue we rented was completely defective. You'll be going down the highway. Nothing in front of you for half a mile. It would just slam on the brakes. Would not let you control the vehicle until it was turned off. We reported to the rental facility they said it's normal and we don't care. I'll never rent another Nissan from them. I can guarantee you that.

Get there early if you made a reservation. My service agent treated me with great respect and was very helpful. Very accommodating, had a great trip, very easy dropoff, got my receipt, and was exactly what I expected it to be. Thanks to the team. Update 6/10/22: times are tough, but customer service is still excellent. Reservations seem to reservations now. Thank you Malcolm for excellent service.

This is the third time I’ve made a reservation weeks in advanced only to be called and told my reservation has to be pushed back. Made a reservation at 11 they say some at 4?! You would think they would prepare the cars the day before not a hour before time to realize oh we don’t have any cars and it’s like is it me? I’m a gold member I rent literally every month . Guess I’ll find a new car service because for a 300 deposit and your main artery just to rent it’s not worth it ! Now my appointment has to be cancelled. THIRD TIME !

The customer service was absolutely horrific. Including the Assistant Branch Manager Josh. I was walked away from in mid sentence outside. The ONLY employee that helped was Chase after he heard what we endured he was very apologetic and took responsibility for his coworkers actions. 2 hours and 45 mins later we were able to leave.

If I could have put zero stars I would have. While renting the vehicle, I parked my personal vehicle at the Enterprise lot. In my absence my catalytic converter was stolen. When I reported it to the local office they pretty much responded “oh well…we are not responsible “ despite having said my vehicle would be “fine”. Upon contacting the corporate office, I was told I would receive a call back in the next days….a month later, crickets.

Had the worst experience with them. Made reservations, when I got there was told I had to wait because they didn’t have any cars and then was sent to another location and was told the same thing. Poor customer service at both locations!!!!

I wouldn't recommend ANYONE use them!! They are NOT that helpful and honestly they are OVER priced cars NOT worth the value they want!! I was told BY AN EMPLOYEE they use a machine and if a vehicle has any light on this machine Cuts all the so-called idiot lights off on the car so it looks like it's nothing is wrong with the car you might want to be careful!!!!

I've never been disappointed with Enterprise until now. Sometimes I do go with Hertz car rental because it is just cheaper however, this time Enterprise was cheaper and we of course chose to pick up and drop off at the Athens location because that is where we live. Pick up time was as soon as they open which online said 9am. We get there, no one there and we are trying to leave ASAP as we have a long drive ahead with 4 kids (1 with a tiny bladder so longer than it should be). Sign on the door says pick up at Decatur location. No e-mail or phone call letting me know this. Not very happy no one told me a head of time. Also, they open up at 7:30 am. Something that would also be helpful to get to our destination sooner. Lady there (wish I had her name) very nice and professional. Even realized the van was not cleaned very well, so took it back and I watched her clean it herself. The stars are for her! She did not have to do that as we have kids and would have to clean it before returning it any way as I feel we need to do. So we were behind schedule because we could pick up earlier but the website told us they didn't open up till 9:00, no one told us the Athens location was closed, van was not ready on time, and it was not clean correctly the first time. Actually not even the second time as we found candy under the seats when we started packing.

Where to start? I recently was in a bind when my still newly purchased car had to go into the shop for transmission repair. At a loss, I decided to rent a car. I found out the Athens branch was consolidated into the Decatur branch. So, being an Athens resident, I traveled to Decatur to pick up my rental. Everything was in order and I was off to work as if everything was usual. Then things changed. My car wouldn't be done until...back order on the parts, needing the inspector for my warranty to take a look, the service department was swamped. I love my nissan dealership by the way. So, I'm stressing, what can i do about a vehicle. I had the rental set for a few days. I found out through calling that I could just extend my rental. I extended multiple times. By the end of it, i had a rental for almost a month. This place, Enterprise, was so helpful and cheerful! Each time I called, I was always not with "that's not a problem, we've got you extended til..." when I finally returned the car, I was met with the same greeting and acceptance. I will always rent with Enterprise and I've already earned a free rental from this time. Sign up for the rewards program, I learned, it returns more than you've got to put in. Great service and total satisfaction!

I rent cars almost every week for my job and I have always been pleasantly surprised by the high level of care that I have received at Enterprise. They do their best to keep me on the road, in a safe car and getting my job done. Problems, which rarely even occur, are addressed quickly and efficiently.

PLEASE do not rent from this location! Showed up on Monday the 14th of September to rent a vehicle I had already made reservations for. Had to wait two whole hours for the reservation, and they did not have the vehicle we had reserved. They upgraded us to another for no extra charge which was not a problem. We pointed out all dings and scratches on the vehicle, and was told they were aware of them. While we we had the vehicle the oil change light came on frequently so they did not change the oil like they said they did. Returned the vehicle before we said we would, and now we are being informed we are only getting $30 of our deposit back, and we did nothing wrong to the vehicle! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!

First of all when I made my reservation weeks in advance. I went to pick up auto 15mins earlier than appointment time. I had to wait over 90 minuets past the time I reserved it and I had to accept another vehicle type than I reserved. My time is valuable too. It would have been nice to have received a call that morning the the car would not be ready and when I could expect one.

Not good. I have waited two days for a car and today I called before I left work and they said they had plenty. Got there and all they had was a mini van that getting in and out would be hard. And they knew I needed a car. Now it's going to be mo day. We keep on and my car will be ready at the body shop. Geeze.

The associate seemed to be overwhelmed with the smallest task. When I went the first time he seemed bothered that I was a "walk-in" and said the process was easy if we didn't it online... That may be but I was already there. He then said he didn't think he had any vehicle available and would not look any up. So I went home to make a reservation, and guess what? There were plenty of vehicles to choose from... imagine that. Back to enterprise I go...and waited an hour to get a car (not the make and model reserved). The car itself seems fine...just the customer service is lacking greatly.

A few years back this location, we rented an auto. Our insurance was covering. Nice car, then they all are anywhere you go. We had totaled our other car out. King story short. We turned the car in. We was promised a ride home. My wife is disabled and I am a disabled veteran. We had a3 year old child with u in fact we was pushed out the doors into the the heat to help us. We had 17 mile to our home. We paid in full. So here is my advice, if you do not have a back up plan home you will be treated as a stranger. We finally made it home. We did get a ride we didn't even have the option to rent another car. I searched the thousands of complaints.i was stunned at how terrible people had been treated. People who have been regular and long term customers .. on the other hand Enterprise has been treated wrong as well. It is a business and they do not care about you as a person you need to know that before you start a deal with them.

My husband tried to purchase a rental. We just moved into a new place and the address did not match his license. My husband tried to explain this to the employee but he denied him a vehicle. My husband had to make a few phone calls to show them proof of residency. A new employee, Logan Bennett was very understanding and listened to my husband. He helped my husband update his address, confirmed what he was telling him and got us in a vehicle. Not only did he pick up for the lack of the other employee, but he went out of his way during overtime (our time of pickup was 10:30am, it was 12pm by this time.) to make sure the vehicle was well cleaned, double checked for any problems and delivered absolutely wonderful customer service. He was very polite and understanding. He turned the whole experience around in a matter of a few minutes by listening to my husband and checking his paperwork. It’s so much appreciated and he got us a vehicle. Thanks so much Logan.

My experience was mixed. I made a reservation over the phone that was apparently not entered into the system correctly. When I got to the location to pick my car the rental agent made it right very quickly and professionally. All in all a good experience

Terrible experience on insurance rental. Manager called me and we agreed that I would come the next day for a rental vehicle. I made adjustments to my work schedule. Showed up at agreed time and they did not have any cars available. No call from manager saying don't drive here because we don't have cars. The manager i talked to was nowhere to be found (think they all say that they are managers) Clerk with his mask pulled down said "sorry come back later". Finally told the manager that was there to please call me when available. He did later but showed up and he was gone and the 2 guys there knew absolutely nothing about my situation. Took the car but obviously a chain smoker had this rental as the stench is unbearable. My sense is that If you have a rental reservation and someone comes in before you, they will rent that vehicle and hope someone returns one before you show up. Forced to use Enterprise because of insurance but not my first choice.

The two young men at the Enterprise site in Decatur Ala. were wonderful. Sadly they were only the two staff there. They had to check in cars and rent them and wash and clean the cars. There were supposed to be 5 people working this site but only two of them were actually there. Dozens of people were waiting in the sun (the tent was only marginally helpful) to either get a car or turn one in. I waited 2 hours to get my car. There was no manager either on this Sat. 8/8/2020. The young men did everything as quickly as possible and said how sorry they were that anyone had to wait. They need a raise. I'd give them 5 stars!

I set an appointment and was met having to start from scratch and not being notified the vehicle I reserved was unavailable. They procured a replacement an hour and a half later and the vehicle was spotless and had no issues whatsoever. Great trip, I only wished to be notified that my reservation was seen and unavailable so I could have gone somewhere else or a different location to meet my schedule and saved them some last minute running around as well.

They never answer the phone, so you have to drive there to ask a simple question. I had to actually take off work just to go there because they wouldn't answer the phone and I had tried calling most of the day and could never get an answer. Then when I got down there, there were several people gathered in the lobby waiting. Pick up wasn't that great either. Hopefully, they don't try to charge me for something that I am not responsible for since I just signed the paperwork and they gave me the keys. They didn't even do a walk around or give me the sheet with the already existing or gas level (it was NOT full. It is now because I'm sure I would be charged if I returned it like it was given to me). I tried to get the responsible insurance company to move the rental to a different rental company, but they wouldn't. My car will be out of the Collision Center today and this one can be turned in. I took the entire morning off work today based on what I witnessed yesterday with that mess and most likely, I still won't get to work on time. They definitely need to hire more people....and answer the phones. 😒

The rental process was simple and straight forward. Using the online service saved me a lot of time, a very valuable feature. the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. taking the time to show me all the features and operating instructions for the car i was renting. Most impressive for me was being 300 miles from home and in a strange town, my rental breaks down, the roadside assistance team went well beyond the usual customer service to insure I was safe, and provide me with all the services I needed, arranging a toe truck to pick up my vehicle, and an Uber driver to take me to an open Enterprise rental facility. All of this on a weekend. I was exceptionally pleased with how professionally and promptly they handled my needs and got me home safely.

Customer service was great! The girls at the Decatur Hwy 31 location were great is the only reason I give three stars to this location. The bad was the car was extremely dirty inside and out. I've rented from enterprise quite a bit and by far this vehicle was in the worst condition. It had not been cleaned. I might expect this if it was a walk in but it was a scheduled rental so, there was no excuse and it only had half a tank of gas. Also, they had no options for rental. While I was in there they had to turn renters away and I had no choice as well. Would not have posted a review but received emails wanting me to so here it is. I will try enterprise again because the price is the best but I hope it will be a better experience.

Overall, the service was good. Unfortunately, I had a reservation to pick up a truck at 11:00 am, but was given the vehicle almost an hour and a half later. This set me quite a bit behind from my schedule. The staff was courteous but could not really explain to me the delay, simply saying they had to clean the vehicle. My reservation was given more than a week before and in my opinion, the vehicle should have been ready at the promised time.
