Purchased my eyeglasses here on 12/8/2021. I purchased premium lens that are suppose to come with protection plan. I have the envelope/flye r that they put receipts in that says it. Yesterday September 28 2022, was told that they didn't come with the protection plan since I didn't purchase the plan separately. It even says it does online that premium lens come with protection plan. Called customer service and was told rudely that no i was wrong they don't. Was told in store that purchasing with insurance the plan would cover even if protection was purchased. Will be using some place different in future.

America's Best in Fultondale provided an awesome experience as a first time customer at this location. I was greeted with a warm welcome when I walked through the door. The staff was very personable and helpful. They were patient with me while and I picked out my frames. My glasses came in quicker than the quoted timeframe. My experience during my glasses fitting was just as great as the exam. I highly recommend Dr. Agee and his team if you are in need of contacts and eyeglasses.

After having my glasses 4 months a screw came out and one nosepiece came off. I went by thinking I could get a quick fix. Was told I would either have to order new frames or send them off for repair at my expense. I informed the employee that this was just a little screw. She said, this is our policy. I told her they just lost my business and walked out the door.

Fultondale was rude . I ask them if they give me every thing I needed to order my glass on line and was told yes. But was a lie and they refused to fill out every thing I needed . They are trying to force me to buy glass from them . Call to talk with Management all ways to busy to come to the phone and they never called me back. after I posted this Guess who called ! Still refuse to fill out the whole prescription told me to measure my own Dist.P.D. .They have the tools to do it way better then Me and would not take them but a minute to do it. Either way very untruthful when they say they give you every thing you need to buy glasses from on line.

The whole staff is amazing they were very professional and courtesy and America's best have the best selection of eye glasses I'm definitely going to go back to get a second pair thumbs up to them keep up the good work

This place was horrible! No one assisted me while picking out frames. Someone usually tell you what your insurance cover and what it doesn’t. My exam took about 10 minutes only. That was really fast for a full eye exam. I purchased two pairs of glasses and they didn’t even come with a cleaning cloth. I never purchased glasses that don’t come with an cloth . EVER! The manager KEISHA was no help at all. She said American Best don’t give out cleaning cloths. I’ve been to American Best many times and I always get a cloth. She told me I can get a discount on the cloth instead . I decided to just return the glasses because I rather go somewhere that’s would at least offer me a cloth to clean my glasses for $700 . The manager rather refund my money instead of providing me with a cloth. I thought that was odd to take $700 plus from the company for an $11 cloth that usually comes with every purchase of eyewear. She rather gave me a discount on $11 and lost $700 plus. Not a good manager at all!! I’m never going back to this company. Bad experience!

Overall, my experience was delightful. Starting with the receptionist, Ramion, who quickly got my daughter and I checked in with a smile and a kind word. The technician, Jami, was prompt and courteous and explained everything she was doing in full detail. Dr. Agee was also very polite and thorough, making me feel at ease during the exam process. The clerk that checked me out, Elizabeth, was so very sweet and helpful. I would say this was the best experience I have ever had purchasing glasses and getting an exam done. Also, the quality of my glasses for the price couldn't be beat. I was so very pleased! I will definitely be coming back.

Everyone here was so welcoming I came in with my son and all of the ladies were SUPER NICE!!! they treated us like they already knew us!!! Dr agee was freaking awesome as well this was my first time getting an eye exam and it was beyond awesome I will be back

I came in for my annual contact and glasses exam today. Dr. Agee was wonderful and very professional! Ms. Nikki and Ms. Gerri were also very personable and insightful! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and being that I live closer to this location, will be making them my home store! I highly recommend!! :)
