Let me preface this by saying I know very little about cars. I walked in to purchase a lug nut for my car’s tire and approached Tracy (the assistant manager) at the counter. I’m waiting and he just points at me. No greeting and just stayed slumped on his chair. After I explained what I came to shop for, I didn’t realize he needed a make and model. He began to get frustrated with me, the customer, and started to raise his voice with me. I grabbed the part I brought with me and left. I will never be back to shop at this store again. I refuse to shop at a business that allows their management to act in such a manner. No customer service and acting as if my business is a bother to them. O’Reilly’s obviously doesn’t have a management standard and I will gladly take my business to NAPA or AutoZone, where they actually seem happy to have me as a customer.

I’m seeing reviews saying how great they are… but our experience was way different. If you’re a parent of autism, pray you break down next to Advance or Auto Zone. These people would not walk right next to their parking spaces as we could only make it to Norwood Clinic (RIGHT BESIDE THEM!!) and the parking lots are literally combined. Our son was having a meltdown and we were stranded and they would not jump us off. BUT IT’S FINE because some nurses jumped us off as they were leaving their job (which is under appreciated!!) at Norwood Clinic. They will NEVER get our business and we’ve told our autism community and all family and friends! What happened to human compassion?!

This location staff was very friendly with assistance. Being a single woman it was great having a male perspective of my sister's situation and finding the right product solution with a portable price.

We screeched in with ten minutes to close because we had blown two headlights on a road trip. Jonathan helped us out immensely; he helped us check what the problem was and installed the lights, which included having to move the battery out and put it back in. He stayed after close and was a life saver.

Theses Guys and Gals are great. Prompt and friendly every time I go or call. They have most of what I need when I go in, if not, I have it ordered and usually can have it within a couple of hours. Fantastic service and prices are pretty good too.

Terrible Service. 11/27/2020 about 3pm today. Manager will not take recycled oil. Tells me they can not take anymore. Same manager that had chip on his shoulder when i asked him a few months ago about recycling oil there he was like as long as it not contaminated? What ever that means. It comes out of your engine. I am sure it is contaminated. So i have spent a couple thousand more or there and will not deal with service like that. Especially jaded managers. Go to Advanced auto parts in Gardendale. Let me dispose of my oil and i bought 100 dollars worth of new oil, oil filer , cabin filter and air filter. Nice folks and satisfied.

I like O'Reilly. I think they have trained their employees better. These other parts stores it's a hit and miss whether you get the right part or not. I'm sure it happens at O'Reilly's too but has not happened to me yet.

Asked them to check my battery because I struggled to get it cranked, and because there was a mist in the air they would not check it for me leaving me stranded in their parking lot until we could get it cranked again. Saw several employees in the back but only one working the front and it took five minutes to be acknowledged as a customer. Thankfully another auto parts chain(initials AZ) were super efficient and wants customers.
