This shop is completely unprepared to provide service and should be closed. I reserved a 26' truck and called the night before pickup to ensure everything was good. They said they would confirm and call me back. They didn't, and when I went to pick it up in the morning, they did not have the truck. I went to Cannon just a half mile away and got a replacement. Also, by the time I left the Chevron office, until I got to the new location, they deleted me entire reservation. The guys at Cannon were great and helped rebuild a reservation and had me on the road in just a few minutes. There are several UHaul locations in Huntsville. DO NOT use this one.

I'm posting this to save people the headache. I initially thought 2.4 review, it must just be people who are mad all the time and didn't pay it any attention. I drove past 4 uhaul stores to come to this location. I arrived 5 mins early to pickup a 26 ft truck. The store operator said he didn't know how to do the paperwork and the person who does the paperwork should be coming from uhaul. I didn't use the online check out. He started to make a phone call where I assumed it would be to uhaul or the person who does the paperwork. I guess it was a personal call. 15 mins after the pickup time. I asked if he was coming. He said no. I then called u haul customer service to get them to release the truck. After multiple transfers and telling me I should have done online check out. I ended with a wonderful professional, Walter, who could get the job done. Finally he released the truck 1 hour and 45 mins after the pick up time. Oh and to mention they didn't have MOVING PADS OR DOLLIES which is inconvenient when you pay by the mile. UHAUL NEEDS TO PULL THEIR TRUCKS FROM THIS LOCATION. IF THEY TELL YOU TO PICK YOUR TRUCK UP FROM HERE. TELL THEM TO MOVE IT TO ONE OF THE STORES THAT SAYS UHAUL. NOT A CHEVERON. I hope this is helpful. The reviews are accurate.

Tried to charge my wife $20 because she could back a truck into an unreasonablly small spot. According to uhaul customer service, its a scam. Don’t let your wife or daughter return a truck here or they’ll try to fleece them.

The man is rude!!! My sister and I walk in and he didn’t even acknowledge us he picked up his phone and proceeded to text. Then we told him our reservation was a 20’ not even looking up he says I don’t have a 20’ you need to call the 1800-uhaul number. Before we got there though we called the store to find out exactly he was located and he just told us by the parkway mall we’re ok we get that but what building are you in because there isn’t a sign and we are not familiar with his location. After asking that he hung up smh. Poor service!
