Very disappointed by the service.. the car was prepaid and my credit card was declined by my bank because no pincode was requested for the $200 deposit. Pincode in France is mandatory to secure payments over $50.We came from France and offered 3 debit cards or to pay by cash but they were All refused by Hertz..no option/solution was given. We were told we could not get the car. So I asked to get reimbursed. They said that since we booked and paid online, we had to ask for refund online. Now that we are back, Hertz does want to reimburse us because this is part of their non- présentation policy….this is crazy.. I will never book again with Hertz

The guys at Hertz were very patient with us when we had to come up with some creative financing. P.S. Having a credit card is necessary. I had one, but my friend did not.

This place was 3-4 hours late getting my rental. (Which ruined my vacation plans). They tried to use the lame excuse that the cars were coming from the airport which was not my problem. That's theirs and right after, the guy tried upselling us. They should have called ahead of time to let us know. We had to keep calling to find out when the car would come. Will not use this place ever again.

Great service at this location. I feel like a valued, loyal gold member customer. At this time during COVID, they are using extreme caution for the safety of all customers. They are very professional, polite and efficient. Shout out to Christan for the great customer service! Returned another car today and picked one up! This was a great experience to my car accident experience. Out of all the parties involved, Hertz was the only company that answered all my questions in a timely manner. They are very busy but that never stopped them from taking their time with me. They were extremely helpful and took the time to answer all the questions and concerns I had as a person that was renting a car through an insurance. I was able to keep my rental for as long my car was in the repair shop. Although there were some miscommunication with other parties, Hertz was the only one that answered my questions and was helpful throughout the ENTIRE STRESSFUL process. For example, the day that my car was due to be returned, neither the body shop or the insurance could tell me what time would the car be returned. Hertz called and stayed on the line until someone gave them an answer that they were not providing to me. I was very grateful that they took time to address an issue that I wasn't being helped in. I appreciate their work and patience with my case. All 3 staff members were helpful from beginning to end. I appreciate the manager driving me to the body shop to pick up my car. Thank you Hertz!

I came here two days ago to see if I could rent a vehicle. Not too welcoming. I walked over to the front desk and was immediately told to "sit down" as they rudely just pointed at some beat up couches. They were on the phone and working by themselves, later I realized someone was also actually in the back away from the public. I've rented here before and the place was never amazing (but it was acceptable) but the set up and customer service has gotten extremely worse. The front desk clerk basically convinced me to take my business elsewhere explaining that no car rental locations will have vehicles ready in the area during a holiday weekend. And he said "maybe theres a small chance I can find you a car but you need to be Patient! " - I was like huh? (I was relaxed and friendly/patient entire interaction) Just was an overall bad experience. Customer service skills definitely lacking and it appears theres a staffing issue and lack of management. I left and went to enterprise 10 minutes away and I was in and out of there in approximately 5 minutes with a beautiful rental car and I interacted with about 3 smiling friendly staff members there. Night and day experiences. So much for "no rental locations in the area will have vehicles ready"

Made a reservation with them for 9am for 2 days. I showed up about an hour later because of course Los Angeles traffic was terrible due to the rain. I didn’t think much about showing up later since I had a reservation. When I showed up I was informed that they had given my rental away and they no longer had any cars. They didn’t bother to call me to confirm whether I was coming in or not. They just cancelled my reservation. Will never rent from Hertz again! Didn’t seem apologetic about it at all. Instead, I called Enterprise (which is down the road) and they were able to get me into a car in 10 minutes!
