The waitresses are all outstanding & friendly all shapes & sizes; old & young! Try the cod dish on their current seasonal menu for May 2022 ….delicious! For breakfast I enjoy blueberry pancakes (off diet) or my usual Avocado & Egg served on sourdough bread, I add turkey breast for protein because I exclude the egg and change the seasonal fruit cup for country potatoes!! You can’t go wrong with my suggestions and a whole pie to go!! You will be back and a regular customer like me!!! Any questions or problems just talk to Mike and he’s the guy that will make it right!

Ugh. What a sad decline! New decor is not comfortable and the place is now an echo chamber. I heard the conversation behind me better than the one at my own table! The restaurant was only about 1/3 full, so I don't know why they sat us all so close together. The wait staff was ambivalent at best. Every time our waitress came out she'd tackle two (of her 4) tables at once, giving each half the attention needed. Had to ask/remind her about several things. Food arrived fairly quickly (the place was over half empty) and my sandwich was fine but the sweet potato fries were half-cooked and tasted slightly fishy (time to change the oil in the fryer?). I left with my plate half full. Couldn't wait to get out of there - and Polly's used to be a favorite comfort food restaurant for over 40 years (in Orange County too). I'm really sad.

Well..after 2 years I tried Polly's with friends before Historical Theatre Tribute Band concert. The portions were so tiny. I was embarrassed since I recommended it as restaurant choice. The coleslaw was in the tiniest cup ever! 2 small pieces of fish. Sorry didn't take photos. My friends Polly burger was the size of a McDonald's happy meal burger! We left hungry after spending over $70.00 including tip. Lisa was a GREAT server. VERY sad.
