As the human responsible for two giant breeds, it is a joy to come to such a welcoming environment. Everyone is friendly and attentive to the health issues of each of our crew.

Wonderful and caring staff. The Dr's here are so patient and caring to our pets. They always do their best to fit you in for urgent matters. Always willing to give recommendations for alternate treatments that may be more cost effective. Will definitely continue to bring my 6 dogs here.

Excellent experience. They squeezed me in on a fully booked day, unlike any other clinic or vet in the LA area. The techs and Doctor were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Highly recommended.

Like with all vets these days It can be tough to get an appointment but the staff are wonderful and really take care of our pup. They do their best to squeeze us in if there's an emergency. We can't speak highly enough of the staff.

Dr. Van Zandt was wonderful to speak with and she took her time answering all of our questions. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. We have a bit of an anxious rescue dog and they were very accommodating to her needs. For a first visit, we couldn't have asked for a better experience and plan to use Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital for future vet visits.

If you’re looking to get your pet fixed, get ready to jump through some hoops. My cats just literally just had a set of liters and a friend of mine recommended this hospital to me to get them fixed. I brought them in and the staff was really nice and things were looking good until the doctor suspected my cats of having ear infections. I let them run the test and they said they had bacteria and that I need to treat them for that before they would spay them. It wasn’t a call for concern at all given how common it is in cats but they made a big deal out of it. They said they wouldn’t fix my cats unless I treated them for a week. I asked if we can take care of their ears after getting them fixed and was denied. I brought them home and cleaned the dirt from their ears and wish I had done this prior to taking them. In the end I was hit with a bill of over 230$ for essentially nothing and my cats are in full-on heat. Total scam. I’m never brining my pets to this place nor would I recommend them to others.

I feel that the personnel and doctors are wonderful. I have never been misled by anyone there and they always give personal treatment to our little Poppy and Sunday. I’ve been going there with Poppy for over 13 years and trust them with our new addition Sunday. Thank you all for such outstanding understanding and care. GOD Bless and keep you.

They really feel like an all-care unit. Even with emergency visits they get you in and start work very quickly. I was expecting blood test results to take a few days to come back and they had them within an hour while my dog was still getting his shots.

This vet not only has the best vet doctors but also the techs and administration staff are amazing. Everyone is friendly and compassionate. Even in the craziness of the pandemic, they have done an amazing job providing care, you are not just a number when you bring your pet here.

I happened to find this place yesterday when my dog suddenly stopped putting weight on her front paw while we were hiking in Griffith Park, and I'm so glad I did! I'm new to LA so don't have a regular vet set up yet, but I saw this place was nearby and had good reviews, so I decided to give them a call. The receptionist on the phone was so nice, and when I explained what happened to my dog the doctor said they could examine her right away. The entire process was so easy and well-handled from beginning to end. They took her in to get examined as soon as I arrived, and gave me plenty of updates over the phone since I couldn't go inside due to covid regulations. I also really appreciated the doctor's thorough explanation of my dog's injury, and that they didn't try to push any extra or expensive treatments. I left with a happy pup and might end up making this my new go-to vet in LA!
