I came in at this store early in the morning (around 6am) before heading to work. After five minutes inside, I was about to leave when this old man walked inside and went straight to the counter. I was surprised to see him as a 7-11 associate. Because prior to entering, I saw him outside of the store with another old guy drinking and smoking (I thought they were homeless). When I saw him at the inside counter, I asked if he could check my lotto tickets. He said that I didn't win anything and that I should complain to the lottery office after I informed him that I thought i won. I was surprised on his answer especially when he insisted on I should go to the lottery office and complain. So, I asked for my tickets back. At first, he resisted. After telling him that I will complain him, he gave me back my tickets. I noticed that there was the word "cashed" printed on them. Upon leaving, he handed me two scratch tickets and said that they were mine. I told him that I thought I didn't win based on what he said earlier, he just shrugged off his shoulders. I think that this "associate", not even wearing proper uniform and drinking and smoking during his work shift should be banned at the store. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for his name. I also noticed during my five-minute waiting there when I first came in that the store was dirty. I was going to get coffee but was discouraged to what I have seen. There was an intent of cheating and stealing lottery ticket winnings. I don't know if he has done it before but I would like for the management of this store to stop him, it might not just be me. And if it's just me, he's starting it, and it is still wrong.

This morning, July 19th 2021 I came inside this store to redeem some points from the 7-11 app. Instead what I got was a middle aged Filipino man who's a employee there ( I will edit later once I know his name since he's there most mornings) who 1. Doesn't know how to handle the 7-11 application. He kept pushing the wrong buttons from his side and was not letting me redeem my points. Once you type in your number it will ask you if you would like to pay fill price or save money. He kept skipping that part 3 times. I explained to him and he acted like he didn't know 2. This man has an attitude 3. He needs to be retrained to know how all parts of the job entails! Or be fired for being incompetent!!!

Horrible customer service, false advertising, incompetent staff and several peoples cards were declined while I was in there tonight. I know the system must have been down. Also clerk definitely seemed intoxicated. Unfortunately it is one of the only 711’s close to where I live.

Went in and had a horrible experience with cashier Mike W. He was extremely rude and called me a thief in front of other customers. I went in and grab a few items, along with a large cup of ice (no soda or juice, just ice) he rang me up and I saw it charged me the full amount for the cup of just ice. I explain it was just ice and with attitude already he explained I still needed to pay full price. I said "oh okay all other places (7/elevens) I go to the just charge me a small fee for the cup. He made faces and said his had never heard of any other 7 elevens doing that. I said okay it cool I just won't take it. He got upset and told me it was theft and I was a thief for going in and serving ice and not paying for. It was an honest misunderstanding and I wasn't going to pay $2.09 for a cup of ice when I could of bought a whole bag of Ice. He continued to say I was a thief and It was theft. Also told me "I better not ever come in here and do that again." Made me out to look bad in front of others over a cup a ice. It took me having to tell him about 3 or more times to take it off my bill I was not going to take the cup. I did call him out on his attitude for one he is an employee and should have never called me out of name and was being extremely rude. He blamed me and my attitude which came after being called a thief multiple times and not wanting to take what I wasn't going to take off my bill I gave him an attitude back. Asked for a manager and he just kept telling me "go ahead and tell the owner he'll tell you the same thing. Its theft and you are a thief" . Never in all my days of going into a 7 eleven and its practically daily and ALL over San Diego have I had such a rude experience and over pretty much nothing. No one should have to be called out and put on spot in front of other for a simple misunderstanding. Hope he is spoken to and given pointers on how to control his attitude and improve his customer service performance.

I've been coming to this store since 1991, the staff for the most part is ok, they don't really keep up on the overall cleanliness of the store, dust on shelves or streaky uncleaned cooler doors, I allways seem to step on some kind of sticky residue when i am in this store, they seem to constantly have problems with the refrigeration units I've purchased some ice cream from them on several occasions and you can taste that it had melted and been refrozen basically don't waste your money on ice cream here. The soda fountain has never tasted right mountain dew and dr pepper have never tasted correctly don't buy from the soda fountain either. They can't seem to keep up on the experation dates of some of the products on the shelves expired packaged bread, or refrigerated ready to eat products like packaged burritos don't trust the ready to eat refrigerated products. Sometimes i come in contact with the supervisor or owner they watch me a little too uncomfortably closely, a couple of times I've been called a thief by them when all I've done is asked if i could use a coupon, basically if your mexican or black and want to be racially profiled by the owner or supervisor come to this store, the staff is actually ok as far as racial issues are concerned, just watch out for the owner and supervisor cause they really don't like mexicans or black people. As far as i can understand the reason the place isn't as cleaned and maintained as well as it should be is because the staff isn't given time to do so, this place gets allot of foot traffick and i don't see that many different employees it looks to be severely understaffed, when you see the same 4 faces every week in a place that should have double that you can't really blame the staff for not staying on top of the much needed maintenance because i don't, when they can clean they do, they just don't have that much time to do so.

Every morning i come to this store there are the same guys smoking right by the door and staff does nothing about it, by law you cannot smoke within 20ft of a public entrance, will be calling the owner about this, it's unacceptable

The workers there are rude. There is an older Filipino man and a Filipino woman with glasses that work there. Everytime I have gone, 3 times in the last 6 months, there has been some kind of problem. the first time was a problem when the Cheetos were 2 for $2 I wanted to switch from flamin fries to reg hot cheetos. The price was the same and it was the same sale they made a big deal said I had to pay the difference and I can't switch it. I got mad and left. The 2nd time which was about a month ago I brought in a refill double gulp cup. When I went to pay the lady asked if it was a new cup I said it was a refill. She said how do I know it's a refill you didn't show me when you came in. I told her I didn't know I had to show you my cup, and if you think I'm lying why would I tell you I have two new cups I'm purchasing and one refill cup, instead of 3 refills. And just tonight we went there for my fiance to get her double cup refilled. She walked in and announced really loud she had a refill. Once we got to the register the man rang her up and asked if it was a new cup. She said it's a refill I just told you guys it was a refill because last time you said we didn't tell you it was a refill. My fiance told the man that his co worker the lady saw her cup. The lady told the man yes it's a refill. The man then told my fiance well you didn't show me. After she gave him a piece of her mind she said are we done here. She began to speak again and he told her why are you still talking. She then told him you don't have to be so rude I'm a customer. Everytime we have came here these employees have been rude. Hate this 7-eleven will never go back
