The only place to get a pet. I will start with the staff. The best. Calm, loving, caring. Explain the rules. Keep pets safe. They are not hurried, want to make sure you get the right pet and are the right fit for the pet. They explain every detail about your responsibility about care for your pet of pets. You get a folder explaining everything. Spayed, or neutered aftercare, feeding, you get a voucher to a vet for free if you don’t have a vet. Samples of food. And take the time to answer all of your questions in a calm, and nurturing manner. We have been to other shelters that do Not come close to the professional, clean, caring that this facility provides. START HERE! We adopted two healthy kittens.

If I could give a 0-star rating I WOULD!! My friend also took her 6-month-old cats to get spayed without knowing that one of her cats was pregnant (she just thought she gained weight) She has her brother pick up her cats and they didn't say anything to him. My friend checks the paper works sent to her through email because she was at work and sees that one of her cats was pregnant. So she calls and asks about what are the steps she needs to take in order to care for her pregnant cat and THIS PLACE TELLS HER "Oh, we aborted the litter, she was days away from delivering". NO CALLS WERE MADE TO HER TO INFORM HER, OR ASK FOR CONSENT ON WHAT MY FRIEND WANTED TO DO FOR HER CAT!!!! NOW I DON'T KNOW THE LEGAL PROCEDURES BUT I KNOW MANY OTHER PLACES THAT WOULD AT LEAST CALL BEFORE MAKING THEIR OWN DECISION AS TO WHAT THEY THINK THE OWNER WANTS. Now I'm not blaming all the employees here at this INHUMANE PLACE other than who was responsible (DR.) for doing the operation and not having the brain capacity to even think that the owner would want the fully developed kittens to be born! Not saying that an apology would have fixed everything, but this place didn't even sound empathetic and did not even want to apologize, or say they would make an effort to foresee in never letting this happen again! My friend was very very upset, and she noticed her cat was very depressed and literally confused as to what happened to her belly! Her cat was ready to be a mom because she had already made her own nested area to give birth to her litter. Put yourself in my best friend's and her cat's situation. I bet MONEY you would not want this tragedy to happen to your beloved pet(s), so do yourself a heavenly favor, and don't ever come here.

They didn’t have too many pets available which is great because a lot of furry friends must be finding happy homes but I was looking to find something when I visited. We couldn’t go into the cat area they said because of the pandemic but when I adopted my first cat I was able to go into the rooms and interact with them. No worries I’ll just head to one of the many adoption events they have every month!

I’m not sure exactly what is going on at Lacy Park right now but every time I’ve come in the last few weeks at least there is this Pasadena Humane vehicle driving around on the lawn and hassling dog owners. Why is a non profit wasting their resources by patrolling a park and apparently calling the cops on dog owners who have their dogs off leash at a park?

Well organized, nice space and environment. Staff is friendly and helpful and they respond to emails quickly and fully. They have parking under their building... And they took good care of my puppy-dog!

Daniel is the best. He kindly helped us adopt our little Bori. We've had him for half a year after our previous dog passed. Daniel called to follow up last month. Bori is such a sweet dog and we love him.

Emile I’ve owed French Bulldog for the past 5 years and after losing my last one, I just didn’t have the heart to get another one. I knew I still wanted a small breed. Luckily I found Tiller browsing on Pasedena Humane Puppies. I contacted (Breeder) and I was able to get my new puppy the same day. Thank you, it makes me happy having a puppy running around the house again.

I'm thankful for the SPCA. Dropped an injured cat here. Got my kitten here. Took four kittens for fostering here and got the mommy spayed for re-release. Thank you SPCA.
