Great variety of well-made products. Still pretty cheap despite the price increases a few months back. Staff here is also pleasant and try to move the long lines as quickly as they can.

My usual travel buddy & I went to Daiso because she had seen a promotional thing for Hello Kitty character coin purses. She wanted a particular character. I just went for the ride. When we got there, we had just finished lunch so I had my drink w/me. Seeing the sign on the door that said "No Food or Drinks", I sucked down my Dr. Pepper & tossed it in the closest trash bin. My friend had already gone inside so I entered the store to find her. Found her looking thru what was left of the coin purses. She was disappointed because they didn't have the character she wanted. We wandered around the store looking @ different things. I noticed some lady walking around the store eating from a cup of iced cream which annoyed the heck out of me. I hurriedly drank my soda for nothing!😑 My friend settled on a set of clear paper clip boxes that had little Mickey Mouse heads all over them & a thin plastic cutting mat. I bought a College Ruled Composition Book for my recipes, a couple of bags of Hi Chews & a small container of cookies similar to Piroulines, Tiramisu flavor. Those were good, by the way. I had to buy a paper bag w/handles for 20cents. There were plastic dividers @ check out.

Bought a fruit snack for 3.25 and opened it up and it tasted strange. I looked at the date and it was expired!!!! I called the store to let them know that they are selling expired food . Yuck. 🤮

Cute little store! It sells items from Japan! The only drawback is that they do post prices. They have prices on little papers and you have to read each items number to find out the price. I wear three prescriptions (trifocals). I have a hell of a time fooling around with glasses when I get out of the car and go into a store it is hard to see writing. So if I have trouble reading in a store I have no choice but to leave.

I always find cute stuff and most of them are more affordable than other dollar stores. Good quality and a huge variety of items.

This place is like the Japanese Dollar Store. Not everything is $1 but nothing is over by much. Good for school supplies, and storage items.

Perfect place for buying little things here and there that you might need for cheap. Shipping from Japan is really expensive and many Japanese products are hugely overpriced at normal retail stores, and so it's nice to go to Daiso. I buy my Kanji practice books here and occasionally some snacks. I even bought my metal chop sticks at a Daiso and they've done me well for the past 3 years. Overall, a great and simple store that should definitely be given a chance.

The store in Rancho Cucamonga is easy to find, and the store is very clean and neat. The starting price for their items is $1.50 (hair pins) and I saw items that sold up to $4:00 (3 way small mirror). My daughter really liked their snacks and there are some items worth shopping there that you could save money if compared to Target and the like. For example, face oil blotters, a Mason jar, snacks and other similar products. However, you get what you pay for so don't expect the highest quality product, just like a 99 cent store or the Dollar Tree. The difference is that the items are mostly Asian. Overall, it's a fun cute little store and it would be great to learn more about products from Asia. For me, it was mostly the snacks that were new to me.
