This place is awesome! They do smog and dmv tags so I don’t have to go to the dmv and wait in long lines all day! Their prices are reasonable and their service is stellar! This place rocks!

I've used this place a few times now. Failed a few times and they told me just a few things I could try. its not thier job to help people to pass smog. Customer service is rough and they do come off as rude sometimes but their service fast and efficient, that's the trade off.

My rear license plate was stolen recently even though car tags were expiring. Went to the DMV to get new plates but needed a smog check to receive new registration, sticker, and new plates. I ended up going to Smog Express for only the smog check but then they also happen to provide DMV services that includes registration, sticker, AND new plates! This definitely beats having to go back to the DMV and wait for hours again. Got the smog check done, received registration, sticker, and new plates within 20-30 minutes - all at Smog Express. (They even installed the new plates). Super helpful and nice people at Smog Express that reflects their quality of service! Quote for smog cert $95. Was told it would be 15 minutes ,only two people ahead of me.....well 45 minutes later and now 7 people in the waiting room and people that came in well after me have already paid and are leaving. When I questioned them, they were rude and said it'll be another 20 minutes. Have used their company for years, Too many shops with much better rates than these guys, Bye, bye. I recently relocated to the area and needed to get a smog certificate to register my car. I expected a long wait as I arrived when they opened without an appointment. I was finished in less than 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful. I needed information on another service required by the DMV. Although this wasn't a service they provided, they made a photocopy of nearby businesses that might be able to help me. Completely satisfied with my experience. Honest reviews are important. I took my pickup truck here to get a smog and my experience was fine at first. I spoke to a man In the office while I waited and asked him general questions about smog and equipment and learned some things. But when another man came into the office to give me the failed smog results, he got hostile when I started asking him for advice and questions about smog equipment. I told him not to talk to customers so rudely and he had no concern for the way he spoke to me and said that I accused him foul play. I would never come here again solely based on how that employee spoke to me- and how he never once looked me in the eye, but gladly charged my card.
