Due to not having enough on a credit card, I was not about to do a rental through Fox rental. A representative there called this car rental and they were able to get me a similar car, same rate on my debit card. Excellent service!!

Fred was amazing and helped us. I had to come in from out of town to bury my father. We didnt have a credit card with us so any of the other car rental agencies werent able to help us. I got ahold if fred and we took bart into san bruno. Fred had one of his guys pick us up from bart and within minutes we were off.

I had a reservation for Alamo at the airport and when I got there they wouldn't use my debit/credit card because it said debit. They also said I needed a returning flight home, which I didn't have one yet because I was out there for work. I called airport rent a car and they got me handled right away. Got an uber from the airport in Oakland to San Bruno and they even took the uber ride price off of the price they quoted me for the week. Car ran great they returned my deposit as soon as I dropped off the car. Overall was a great experience and they saved me from a lot of stress. Would recommend and definitely use them again in the future.

This company is LEGIT! I flew in from another country and I forgot my CC which I realized when I was already in line at a car rental company at SFO. The agent felt bad for me since he couldn't rent me the car and contacted someone at Airport Rent a Car. I was nervous as I didn't know what to expect or where I was going. A nice man met me at the car rental terminal and drove me to his business location. It looked really sketchy from the outside and I wondered if renting a car from them was safe. The car was OK. It was ok cleaned and a bit worn down, but nothing where I felt gross or embarrassed to drive around in. It just wasn't up to par as Budget or the major rental companies. Given that I needed a car badly while being in the Bay area for the week, I couldn't be happier that I was able to rent one from them at a very good price. I returned the car with no problems and the same guy drove me back to my terminal. Personable, nice customer service, and really convenient. Thank you!!! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends/family.

I lost my driver's license during my flights to San Francisco and the big rental agencies wouldn't rent me a car. This place really saved me big time letting me rent a car without a license. They picked me up and dropped me off at airport terminal morning of my flight. I really appreciated their good service and hospitality.

One sentence summary: great service, bad cars. The owner went out of his way to help us out when our car rental at another place fell through. Picked us up from the airport, gave us bottles of water wait we waited, matched the price from the previous place too. Now, the same quality of service cannot be said of the cars. There were more minor issues with our car that we could live with, such as a broken aux port, scuffs on the paint and interior, etc. What was not acceptable was the sticky throttle that, if not properly managed, resulted in loss of control of the car. We almost ran into a building as we were trying to park because the throttle got stuck. Later in our trip, we found the door buttons on the driver sider for controlling the door locks and windows frustratingly unresponsive. The owners and staff are incredibly nice, but sure to these listed reasons, I ultimately cannot endorse this business.
