Wow. So impressed with San Diego Car Care. I am getting ready to move and I had scheduled a detail which canceled at the last moment. I had no options on such short notice, so stopped by San Diego Car Carr for the first time. I selected an option for about $35. The whole process from the lady who coordinates those who work there, to Ramona the cashier, to the people who actually vacuumed and cleaned my car it was just top-notch. My car looks excellent, is super clean and they took the time to get into the crevices and everything so I start my trip fresh. Highly recommend.

I paid for my car to be cleaned inside and out, and the outcome was not great at all. I presented it to the individual before getting my keys back, and all I got were excuses. I’d instead drive further to get better results. Photos were taken right after the wash.

They charged for interior vaccum but barely did any clean. On every mat you could find dirt and the trunk they forgot altogether. I requested attendant but he said it is other guy’s fault. I asked to borrow vacuum to clean myself but they had gumption to raise eyebrows.

I have been going to San Diego Car Care for the last 8 years. It is about the only place I will go. They do a nice job cleaning the cars and the staff is really nice and always have smiles on their faces. I have never had anything stolen from the car and I was delighted when they found my son's cell phone hidden in the car and left it on the passenger's seat!

Updated comments. I wanted to bring my car in today but realized that the discount offer from Cameron expired. I reached out and Cameron was willing to extend the offer again. I met Tina, the shift manager, and she was understanding, helpful and friendly. I had the hand wash and wax service with discount. My car was clean and shiny. I am really happy with the help and customer service from Cameron, Tina and the gentlemen from the detail department today. Thank you very much for a great service. I purchased an ultra wash $40 yesterday. I really disappointed and it was totally wast of money. I feel like it was just a 1 star wash plus they made my dashboard and tires wet (not sure if it was dressing or they just made it wet). When I inspected the car there were still many yellow dots/spots on the exterior. I pointed out and I was reasonable enough to borrow a rag and removed them myself. The gentlemen who worked on my car didn't even bother to hang around to see if I'm satisfy with the car. Another young men came up and told me the yellow dots/spots were from the tree and they dropped onto my car when they worked on it. I told them that if they just dropped on it, then it is easy to remove them. The fact is that it is hard to remove; so it tells me that it's not recently. I also told him that I didn't even make you guys remove them, I removed them myself. He walked away. Luckily, a gentlemen from the detail department came over and asked me what the problem was. I told him and continue to inspect the interior. Right away, I can see dusts and spots were still on my driver seat and on carpet. I pointed to him and said I didn't mean to be picky but you can see it was clearly still dirty. He agreed and took my car back to correct the problem. Initially was not really happy because it was the ultra wash. However, his sincere and great customer care made it up for everything. I will not spend more money than 1 star wash there again. I think the owner should retrain the other two employees and praise the gentlemen at the detail department.

Today I had the $59.99 Detail done to my car. The result was very high quality and thorough. Dawn (the assistant manager) was welcoming and knew many of the customers. She walked me around my car when it was done to ensure I was satisfied with the result. I asked about something that was not included in the detail description and she quickly threw it in for free. The detail is very good value compared to other businesses I have taken my car to.

Well first handedly it was a nice service my car was cleaned very well except they have people who will steal money out of your car 🤷🏻♀️ had a whole bag of coins (mind you there's a coin shortage), and it was gone when I received my car. Was told they'd get back to me never did. Be mindful of your belongings.

Please ensure you customers aren’t ignored when they are waiting for their car wash. I arrived today to an empty car wash minus one car which was being vacuumed by one of your employees. I waited for him to acknowledge me for 3 mins and he made no effort to acknowledge me. I then got out of my vehicle, stood next to the vehicle he was cleaning and was still ignored until I shouted loud enough for him to hear me. He looked up at me and went back to vacuuming without skipping a beat. I waited 2 more mins before I finally went inside to ask for someone to write up my car wash and the person who was supposed to be writing up tickets came in to get a new book since he ran out of tickets. I explained to him the situation at which point he informed me the gentleman vacuuming doesn’t speak English. I said “well that’s unfortunate for him” which is what led me to write this review to inform management to do a better job of teaching their employees to acknowledge paying customers and get assistance if they can’t assist because of their language barrier. Worst part of this whole story is that the Asst Manager was running the register and essentially dismissed my concern when I offered the suggestion in person to have his workers seek help if they can’t assist their customers vice ignoring them. This is now the 2nd time I’ve had issues with this location. The last time my sticker on my window wasn’t working snd the asst manager took my info and was supposed to call me to rectify the situation, which never happened. The following week I went back to follow up in person and the asst manager had quit. Your team needs to take more pride in their jobs and be better with customer service.

Paid $28 for a 5 star wash. Didn't expect to have to reposition my floor linings (which weren't cleaned properly). Bug guts remain on windshield and streaks in the rear window. Wheels were done well enough to earn 3 stars on this review. If you have time to go a couple miles up the highway, I would highly recommend the other San Diego Car Care on Bernardo Center Drive, over this one. Over there for same 5 star wash, it is like a mini detail compared to this location. The Best Buy was next to this one and I had to return an item. Otherwise I would've went to the better one on Bernardo Center Drive.

First time I've ever brought my vehicle here. Was very impressed with professionalism, care and cleanliness. As far as others posting about things being stolen out of their vehicle, I did not experience this at all. In fact some cash was on the front seat at the end of my wash that had unknowingly fallen between the seats. I will certainly be back.
