21 Best gas station in San Diego, California (CA) 2024

The people were nice but ultimately the service was terrible. I took my car in to have a spot removed from the interior, and paint is now chipping off my car. The photo is from when I returned to my car but the chipping has only gotten worse. When I told them about this they basically said, " not our problem". Now I have to pay 4 times as much to fix the paint on top of the already expensive spot removal. In addition to the new paint chipping, there were still smudges on my windshield, and the interior was extremely greasy to the touch. The feeling of chemicals was all over my interior. Again, the staff was kind but I will NEVER bring my car here again. Services: Seat shampooing, Full body wash, Auto detailing ~Kip

I travel for work all over San Diego County, so I’ve stopped at a lot of different Costco Gas Stations. This one, hands down, is the worst one. All of Costco Gas Stations are busy, but this one has no organization and at least five different entries for traffic to enter through. This makes it congested and extremely dangerous. I will be marking this one to never come back to. Costco - you really should have it setup with only one entry point and guide the traffic so it’s safer. ~Jamie

I was in a big hurry and the first pump I parked at would not work at all and then the second one would Work but once I selected fuel type it wouldn’t pump fuel. ~Evan

Super friendly staff, they always have a smile on their face there, I visit them all the time and always joke and play with them, it's that cool of an environment.. but unfortunately, their gas prices are like everybody else's, so I'd rather come here for my gas, because I get such great friendly service.. nice clean bathroom too.. they still have not sold me my winning lottery ticket yet, so that would be my only complaint to management.. ~James

No public restroom, very rude staff. Soft drink machine all covered in caution tape. Find another place for gas ~dave

Some of the cheapest gas near the UCSD campus with good and filling food as well, unlike the location across from Aladdin's. ~Pat

Got gas at 6.09/gal. Right after I finished fueling, price was displaying at 5.99 for the next customer...the inconsistency is baffling. Shouldn't have wasted my time here. I could have gotten a better price closer to home. ~Betty

Gas station is usually clean but staff there it's just not nice. Specially a short lady who's always yelling and if you want to use the bathroom she will actually ask for your proof of purchase ( 10 on gas or 5 in store) even when YOU just paid her. literally. Staff on shell across the street are way nicer. Plus gas tends to be over priced here. Not worth it at all. Gas is pricey and staff is not friendly most of the times.
