Very clean although the bathroom vents could be cleaned better, it's comfortable but not alot of equipment and I can't say what it's like on a busy day but I went in on a Sunday and like usual it was dead. I travel for work and always use anytime fitness all across the states my only real complaint about this one would be not enough barbell clamps, a set was in use with another person using the barbell for squats and I could not find another set for the curl barbell overall a good experience with the the other equipment.

I love attending Anytime Fitness in West Sacramento. The environment is clean, charming, affordable, and has a charm that makes it attractive to keep coming back. I have recently signed up with a certified personal trainer (Sergio) who is supporting me in my fitness journey. I am very pleased with his knowledge and passion for helping people reach their fitness goals. I highly recommend signing up with Anytime Fitness Gym and speaking with Sergio to reach your own fitness goals for the future.

I love coming here! Since the manager changed this gym is amazing they always have machines available, its always so clean now thanks to Sergio and not to mention he's super friendly and helpful all the time! It definitely a more positive vibe here.

Update: Ended up getting things sorted with the owner. The owner is extremely pleasant, in stark comparison to his prior employee. The previous staff member I discussed in my review was subsequently fired and the owner and I came to an agreement I was satisfied with. The gym is still relatively expensive for the quality, or lack thereof, but I like the location and the relative emptiness of it - I never need to wait for a machine or bench to be freed up. Original review: Gym has been abysmal at informing customers of when it’s open during the pandemic (even though county orders indicate it should be closed). Good luck getting compensated for any time you pay if they are closed/don’t inform you they’re open. It was near impossible to get in touch with any sort of staff and even when you did, the staff was immature and not professional in the slightest. I think my favorite thing I was told was “Why didn’t you drive by and check everyday?” when I asked how I was expected to know when they were open. You can find much better gyms for the same if not better price. Don’t waste your time or money.

Pretty sure they closed their doors permanently. Went to use the gym, no one there, door wouldn't open. Not to mention things have been downhill there for months now, no soap, most of the bathrooms were locked, no paper towels. I joked around saying this gym was done, but I figured they'd at least finish out the year!

Called before hand to check if I could come in and talk to someone about joining. I walked in and the employee was sitting at a chest press machine working out. I stated why I was there and he didn't even bother to get up or introduce himself. He appeared annoyed to have to do his job and talk to me.. I was done by that point.. First impressions are key and they definitely fell short!

Showed up and our keys didn't work. We had a feeling it was going to close. The place was poorly maintained almost like the owner just gave up. Oh well, found a better gym closer. Feel bad seems like another business that's failed in part to California's covid closures.

Gym fees set to withdraw on the 20th of every month. In July I requested the end of my month to month contract. Was advised I had to come in to cancel and as long as I did it before the 20th (when my billing is scheduled to hit, that I can cancel and nothing would be charged. I came in and they altered their office hours to a smaller window making it very difficult to reach someone. I came in a second time and spoke to an employee advising I want to cancel the month to month gym membership. She then advised me I needed to put in a 30 day notice. This wasn't explained over the telephone!!! So now they want me to pay yet another month of service and I don't agree! This is robbery. When customer service called me a month ago I told them this but they explained they only take the payment and NOT deal with membership. Awesome! So what's when I called the gym and asked how to cancel my membership. I've been a member for 1.5 years and have gone under a dozen times. My 12-month contract has been over! I've been month to month for 6 months. They took away a great perk that initially drew me in... A computerized fitness program. And not to mention they charge $15/ more than any other Anytime Fitness and have minimal machines. They should explain everything when asked over the phone and not come back with- this was told to you at signing (1 1/2 years ago) and shove a 30day notice in your face. I want my membership cancelled as it was explained to me over the phone and no more charges to my card. Ohhhh and as much as they charge- they could use some AC! ITS HOT IN THERE!!!!

I would give this gym 0 stars if it were possible. I went to look at this gym and there was not much equipment there, but they charge as if it was a premium facility. It's limited in terms of the big 3 lifts, no deadlift platform and didn't see any bench press options. There are so many other better options for a better price elsewhere.
