Fat Shack is one of those places you have to try just based on the name. Conceptually, its great. And the food is pretty good. I will say, they pad the sandwich with fries. I get it. Chicken is expensive and potatoes aren't. But what could be amazing ends up being pretty good,

The we paid nearly $40 for a burger and fries with a drink and a fat veggie with fries and a drink and we paid extra for Mac and cheese bites. The fat veggie comes with mozz sticks also. We received bread with French fries and lettuce and ranch. Severely disappointed in what we paid for what we got. Should’ve just gone to McDonalds. We could’ve gotten 3 times the amount of food for less than what we paid. I am nothing short of disappointed.

Great place to go to. I eat here all the time, especially for late night snacks. I've had the Fat Bronco sandwich and the Philly Cheesesteak, both which were delicious and filling. I'm impressed by the contents of their sandwhiches; I thought they wouldn't taste great because of it (fries, chicken tenders, cheese sticks, marinara sauce, etc.) but I was absolutely proven wrong. Their staff is very nice and the manager is very good with customers and helping the staff out. Overall it's a friendly environment to hang out in. I only have two factors that kept my rating at 4 stars- they close their bathroom way too early and they take a while to make food. Expect the wait for food to be 15-30 minutes. The food is worth it though. I encourage anyone who hasnt tried the experience to try it now.

Great burgers. Great sides. AND....They're open until 3 am. In a time when all the places we once loved have failed us by closing at midnight. Here comes Fat Shacks, like my knight in shining armor, offering me tasty delights late night after a long night at work. Thank you FS for giving a place to go on my way home from work that isn't a stale sandwich in a gas station reach in.

7/23/22: Still has great burgers. I get the 'single,' all the way Burger. Their burgers have some kind of mild sauce on them that makes them different and great. My son loves them too. It was his idea to go. They're open until 1:00 a.m. so I never have to worry if they're still open. Nice folks too. 1/26/22: excellent chicken wings, though small, and hamburgers. For the wings I get buffalo, not too hot. Ordered them many times. Perfectly cooked and hot every time. 4/20/21: excellent chicken wings, though small. I get buffalo, not too hot. Ordered them twice now. Perfectly cooked both times. 2/20/21: Dine-in. They have some wild sandwiches, but this time I just had the single grilled cheeseburger, all the way. It was great. Generous cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce and some sauce that really made the burger. Dine in, but they have a special window just for Grubhub and Uber delivery drivers. See my picture. Open until 1:00am Sunday - Friday and 3:00am on Saturday. Previously: This was my first visit to a Fat Shack. It's a cool place. This one had 'dine-in' and only two other customers in the dining room. My son ordered a single patty cheeseburger and said it was one of the best he had ever had. He was sensible. I asked the counter person what his favorite sandwich was and he said it was the Pioneer. So I ordered a large Pioneer not realizing that one large sandwich was 2040 calories. It was all I could do to eat half (I saved the other half for the next day). It contained the meat that's in a Philly cheese steak sandwich, french fries and macaroni and cheese *in* the sandwich, among other things. Oh. And they put a thin, sweet bbq sauce on it. Sounds strange but it was tasty. They also had fried Oreos which of course we had to try. They were great. They were actually an Oreo inside kind of a large donut-hole and deep fried like a donut. These were perfectly cooked and were served hot. Wonderful. I'll go back for a fried Oreo but will have to try a different sandwich that is less of a 'carb load.'

Legitimately one of the best burgers I’ve had in the city, holy damn. I’ve had a few of their other sandwiches but that burger… man. It hit the spot tonight. Fox (I hope I’m spelling that right, slap me if it isn’t) was tremendous, we got 5 star service from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out with having tried (what felt like) half of the menu. Fox’s service assured we’ll be back again (real fuggin soon).

Not bad - it's not amazing, but it's not bad. It certainly delivers on the name, and it definitely has a particular vibe of "all things deep fried, and only deep fried." If you're into that sort of thing, here's your place! I like fries and chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks as much as the next American, and in theory, mashing it altogether on a sandwich with some cheese sauce, lettuce, and ranch sounds like a great idea... But when most of the ingredients on the sandwich have the same flavor and texture (deep fried crunches), it's kinda meh. Once I ditched the bread and started eating the innards individually, it was great! The cheese sauce is delicious. Had the cheesecake bites for dessert, those were amazing :) all the staff was very friendly and service was fast. Little pricier than I imagined, $35 for two sandwiches, sodas and 3 cheesecake bites, but oh well.

Super friendly location in Wheat Ridge for some indulgent guilt pleasure food! Not sure where else I could get a sandwich with cheese steak, chicken fingers, fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and jalapeno poppers all housed in one pita style location. Great cheese fries too. Polish it all off with some deep fried desserts coated in powdered sugar! I chose some Oreos and chocolate chip cookies. Stop in. Good selection of sporting events playing on their TVs.
