Not sterile. The phlebotomist (blood drawer) wore the same pair of gloves for my entire visit, from getting me in the waiting room, through doors and curtains, typing on her computer, preparing the vials, sticking my arm with a needle, and applying the bandage. Further, right before she stuck me with the needle, she pressed a finger right on the spot where the needle went in my arm with her dirty glove! Blood borne pathogens anyone? They're free here!

The technicians/nurses are professional and friendly--I've never had such a painless blood draw. Also, the results were delivered to me via the patient portal the same day! I've never had that happen at any lab I've been to previously. High marks.

Terrible customer service and lack of communication. Good luck getting a hold of someone here over the phone or your lab results.

BCH Lab is top notch. I've been going here for years, and never have had a bad experience. I was there this morning for bloodwork and was quite pleased with the extent of Covid safety. Bernice ( the phlebotomist) was not only friendly and pleasant, she was very professional as well. PLUS, the blood draw was quick and painless. These folks definitely know their craft.

These people are rude! They forgot to put my unit number on lab work paperwork! I never received a bill in the mail so instead of calling me they sent me to collections and it ended up on my credit report which dropped 24 points! When I called to get it settled they gave me the run around and played the blame game! If you have options find another lab!

We arrived under the guidance of our Dr Who ordered bloodwork for my sick son. We arrived at 12:02 at the fever screening table and were told “sorry we closed at noon, I said that was only 2 minutes ago”. The male screener was kind enough to try to check with the lab... but woman at the welcome desk today, noon, 10/4/2020, seemed to take joy in telling us the lab was closed come back another time. NO one goes to the hospital for a good time, it’s always because of illness, or injury.... today’s experience left me with a feeling of I wish there were other local options for health care... because a HUGE part of Healthcare is CARE and compassion... which BCH LAB seems to be lacking... :( .
