I thought Bear claws had apple in them well they don't and for 3.00 that is too much.. I have eaten lobacks for over 50 years and this is too much sorry lobacks your off my list....

Unassuming from the exterior but do yourself a favor and go inside!!! I got a creme filled longjohn and holysh*t. It's amazing. This may be the best donut I've had. It's not dense at all, it's a very light dough. The creme inside is the perfect amount of sweet. I can't explain it. Just go in and get something. Edit: I went back the next day for more. As I'd hoped, everything was amazing. I got a bear claw, cappuccino donuts, more creme filled long johns, sprinkle donuts, and glazed donuts. This is absolutely the best bakery in BV and one of the best probably in Colorado.

THIS PLACE IS A MUST STOP!!! HOLY MOLY! These donuts remind me of the small town bakery I grew up with. The woman greets you with warmth and a smile every time and you feel like you walked into a Hallmark movie haha! And the donuts are melt in your mouth perfection! The chocolate long johns and the twists are my favorite but honestly anything you get there is going to be delicious! Do yourself a favor and stop in for all the warm fuzzies!

We have bought bread (whole wheat) here twice now but both times were disappointed (too much sugar and lack of body). The store seems run down with few items for sale, such a shame. A Bakery should have some enticing smells and attractive wares but this place has none of those. There are enough restaurants and coffee houses in BF which must be calling out for good bread and sweeter produce. Maybe a new younger owner could revitalize the store. Please don't let it reach the point where it has to close.

Delicious, simple, home-y, and affordable. If you want to get fed, caffeinated, and support a family business with deep roots stop here - heads up, the jalapeno kolaches have a bite :)

Stopped in for a coffee while in BV but they didn't really have much variety - you could get a generic cup of drip coffee or have it over ice. Hubby wanted something more flavorful, so we opted to go to the roastery across the street to get a drink. We decided to buy a dozen chocolate chip cookies before we left. The cookies seemed a little stale and they had an odd flavor. Even our always hungry teenage son didn't like them which is saying something as he'll usually eat anything.

This is a wonderful bakery from our experience. The quality of the items purchased is very good. As with a lot of bakeries, you need to visit earlier than mid afternoon to have a good selection of the daily baked goods or toy are left with very few items to choose from, go early. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

The pastries were super fresh. Lobacks also had some half priced pastries that I assumed were day old, but these were fresh as well, so I purchased some extra for the rest of my trip.

Great affordable tasty bread. They even offered to slice it for us. Being from the Denver area I couldn't get over the price, it's so cheap for such a delicious product! Worth a stop by for tasty bread to add to a meal while camping.
