I've gone here for years. Highly recommended. There are a wide range of bulk spices and flours to choose from, as well as beans and grains. The deli is pretty cute, though I admit I've never gotten anything from it. Prices are higher than most grocery stores, but you can walk out assured that everything you bought was ethically sourced and wholesome. 5 stars, I just wish I could leave without buying $70 of grains and flours whenever I visit.

Wow! They make 🔥 vegan/veggie/organic deli stuff for super cheap compared to Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, etc. The people that work there seem genuinely cool as well. If you're in their hood- give them your money.

The deli sandwiches are amazing! They even have vegan options. ☺️ I absolutely love shopping here and would probably come every day if I lived closer. I highly recommend!

Been coming here for years for mine and my childrens vitamins, snacks and a quick bite to eat from their deli/cafe. Love the super healthy and usually vegan options they have there. They also make a gluten free cake that is to die for!! And I got for my mothers birthday since she has celiacs and she absolutely loved it! Highly recommend this place!

I love independently-owned and operated natural food stores. It takes a lot of skill, patience, sweat, and tears to survive as an independent. Mountain Mama's is a prime example of what can be accomplished when you want it to be and give it your love and dedication. It's simply one of the best natural food stores that I have ever experienced. Mount Hope in Cottonwood, Arizona is another example as is Semilla Natural Foods in Las Vegas, NM, and both of those stores opened in the late 1960's or early 1970's and have survived. Mountain Mama has it all. There fresh food counter and juice bar delicacies make it not only a place to shop but also a nice place to eat. The working folks inside are all friendly and knowledgable so your questions will be answered righteously. It's my kind of place even though I live 3.5 hours away in Folsom, NM; I'll be back regardless and thank them for staying strong in these weird times. Oh yes, they have a huge selection af great products, thoughtfully chosen brands.

Huge selection of natural foods. Locally owned with coffee and a sandwich shop in the back. Lots of bulk and great staff. Seems like they also have a lot of pet food available too. All around great experience and supporting something besides a big box store. Thank you!

Mountain Mamas is my absolute favorite. Here's why: you can get fresh food, frozen food, vitamins, supplements, household items, baked goods, pantry items, and lunch all in one cute, little shop on the Westside. Some of my favorite items are: the frozen grass-fed chorizo (that I use for making kale soup,) Kendra's veggie burger (from the grill,) the sourdough spelt (from the bakery,) and their daily varieties of vegan sides and individual cake slices. Their vegan artichoke dip, and vegan lemon cupcakes are crazy-good!! Everyone here is friendly and helpful, especially Saige and the whole kitchen crew!

This is a small cozy local health food store. Plus they have a little area in the back where you can order homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. I thought the selection of local baked goods and gluten free items was good. Their produce and grocery sections are small but were fun to explore.

(The first thing i noticed when the doors opened) A friendly and clean environment. Fresh, colorful fruits and vegetables. All kinds of assortments on cooked foods, grab and go items for the hungry soul. Very helpful employees, they reminded me of busy bee's sweeping, running to wipe or mop or help someone. They are a little on the pricey side. Delicious vegan bar from the bakery. I'll be coming back to try the Mountain Mama Deli. These little hidden spots are usually gems. It's definitely on my list to try soon.
