You are extremely rude young lady with your cleaning lady scarf, very cute! Laverne and Shirly, Right? You are a cashier not a stand up comedian. I didn't go in that store to be made fun of for wearing the scarf I had actually bought in that same store. I always cover mi head, for spiritual reasons. Usually i just wear a hoodie but it was my birthday yesterday. I have been doing this since my son died in December. I had been crying the night before and earlier that day after learning the cause of his death. I just came in there to get drinks and snacks for my children. I dont even know you. I will gladly never shop there again. This is Denver, It isnt like there isn't anywhere else I can shop with much nicer people.

I have been going to this Natural grocers for a long time since way before; when it was called vitamin cottage. For as long as I've been shopping here I've never had a bad experience. But today moving forward I can't say the same. I purchased two sets of vitamins on 05.03.2022. So I go to the register and get my items scanned. I hand a 100 dollar bill to an older lady I've honestly never seen there previously. So she scanned the bill to verify. That is definitely not an issue I've also worked as a cashier in a previous job. But what she said after she scanned the bill was out of line. She then said " Good thing it's a real one" in a offensive manner. I didn't say anything at that moment cause I know what is appropriate in a grocery store. There was no reason she needed that comment said out loud. Especially cause it was in fact a real bill. I honestly drive way too far to go this specific natural grocers over a ten mile drive from my current home. Now I'm reconsidering even coming back even though this is the Natural grocers I've always come to for over 11 years. I will be now shopping at the natural grocers that is less than two miles from my home.

Was going to leave 1-star but the cashier was incredibly kind and helpful. I was condescendingly asked multiple times by the same employee if I “knew what I was looking for” (assuming a manager, she stepped out of a back office) who continued to watch me while I shopped. Felt glaringly obvious that because I’m not a rich white person she was assuming I was trying to steal. Not going to give this company any more money for their over priced products, which is a shame because it’s the only healthy option near me. Was surprised to experience discrimination like this at such a “progressive” company. 😂

I have been looking all over town for a Particular item and finally realized to go to Natural Grocery. I was so happy to find it there and they are so friendly too. They also have my vitamin’s . I strongly recommend shopping there !!

There was a lovely person at the register who explained they needed help to check me out. This person had some obvious differences that perhaps made everyday things a bit more challenging for them. Tanner, the head cashier arrived. He was so kind, patient and soft spoken as he guided them through exactly how to look up produce and enter the codes. He took his time and was effortless in the space he held for this person. These days folks have a little harder shell and shorter patience from what I've noticed. Not this young person. It was inspiring to see someone so genuinely kind. Quality food and people NatGro. Thanks for melting my heart on this chilly day. ♥️

I live close to a Natural Grocers, but prefer the Colfax store. Being from north Denver, it's always been our go-to store. Bought an item that had a flaw. No problem exchanging for another. I appreciate them having items other health food stores don't. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I went to this store on my lunch break and saw no less than 5 people in the store without mask. This is the first time I've seen people without masks, ever. I mentioned it to the clerk and she said they don't get paid enough to enforce mask wearing. I go to this store, because I feel safe, that's not the case any more. If they don't care, I can go next door to Safeway, where it's bigger, better ventilated and less expensive. Sorry Natural Grocers, if you don't care, I don't care to do business with your organization.
