Their prices were great for a few months, now it's about double what I can pay at King Soopers. Liked them for a moment, but all my is fleeting. Exceeds Whole Foods prices without the quality. Just, why?

This Safeway has a few issues, today I had one problem and everyone was not on their game, the pricing of frozen French fries screamed on sale at 2.99 versus 4.49, not planning to buy any I bought 2 bags as the sale price was 2.99 on shelf, rang up at 4.49. Spoke to cashier, she said go to customer service, customer service was handling a money order and the guy left after leaving me in line another young lady handle my issue, basically perfectly, but when I asked what happens next there was no reaction, I asked do you go to the shelf and verify the pricing and fix for future customers, she simply smiled. I got crab claw listed as previously frozen from the fresh fish department the gentleman who took and filled my request was on par, he even said the sign was wrong it's pollock, fake claw meat, I still bought .5 lbs at 6.99, got home,it was spoiled, I am returning in the morning. This is the second time I got spoil food at this Safeway, the first time was 29.00 in short ribs , I literally gagged, when tasting after cooking, went back next day and spoke with someone in the meat department, they said I had to bring it all back in and there was nothing they could do. I said ok, knowing i would never buy any meat at this location again. I say that as my Safeway by my home in Lakewood and by my renta, in Denver, l have been spectacular and I have never purchased any seafood or meat that I had a complaint against, it's this Safeway, hopefully not the chain. Been shopping there for years, I believe I should avoid this location, and I recommend you do too for fresh food, meats seafood, etc. Again then young lady refunded me the difference in price, but there was no effort to prevent the same error for the customers after me. Nuff said, buyer beware, some locations deserve our support, this one clearly does not, I am a customer of well over 30 years as my corporate office is near by, I will by pass shopping here the future and shop near my home. Hey there's a Kings Sooper, a whole food, a Sprouts. Get it together take care of every customer that comes in, we have lots of choices and maybe you shouldn't be one.

This Safeway is going to shut down soon. On several occasions that I’ve been there you see people running out of the store with food. This is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen and the employees can’t do anything about it.

Please hire more staff. I frequently go to this location and I see the same employees here each time I go and they look overworked. This can easily cause good workers to become burnt out. They are always friendly and look like they are doing what they can. It always looks very clean and shelves are stocked but trying to get out of the store can be a nightmare when everyone is using the self check out to leave because there is no other option.

The deli could use some work if having sides for there meals. What's a chicken dinner without mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. I shouldn't have to buy the cooked chicken then have to make my own side, that defeats the purpose of not having to cook.

When I went to this location to deposit cash onto my prepaid debit card and the cashier at money services shorted me $20. I had $350 in cash to deposit but when it came time to put the money in the register he said I still owed another $20. When I asked about the missing $20 (I know I did not miscount because I counted it several times prior) he said he could not recount because “it was already in the register”. I tried talking to the manager (for money services) and the man claimed he “counted it three times” even though he only counted it once (and did not even count it out loud in front of me). All the manager did was take his side and say that she’ll give me a call after they count their till for the night. She never did. I was short $20 due to the money services at this location.

I went to grab milk from this Safeway at 10:45pm this evening only to be greeted w locked doors and a very rude and unfriendly female Latin American manager who informed me the store was closed ( even though online and on their door it says they do not close until 11pm) I proceeded to inform this employee that I just needed to grab milk and I would be out in less than a minute I walked into the store after she opened it. She then proceeded to call security on me while I was grabbing the item I needed. This whole incident was completely unnecessary and has made me never want to shop w any Safeway location ever again. It’s sad that a store I have shopped at daily for the last year I have lived at my current residence would treat me this way. Do better Safeway and if you close at 11pm then the doors should be unlocked until 11pm.

This review is for the Starbucks inside. The girl charge me $1 extra for vanilla syrup for vanilla iced coffee. I've never been charged for syrup for vanilla iced coffee I told her no classic so I paid $7 for a venti iced coffee..... garbage

It’s not too much to ask that carts and baskets be available to shoppers. Also, why can’t the deli have a staff person and fresh food available from 11:45am to 12:15pm? That is a normal lunch expectation, yet when I go then, there is no one to help me or I’m told there is no chicken, etc. Ridiculous.

She then proceeded to call security on me while I was grabbing the item I needed. This whole incident was completely unnecessary and has made me never want to shop w any Safeway location ever again. Do better Safeway and if you close at 11pm then the doors should be unlocked until 11pm.
